Recognition The BOARD recognizes the UNION as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent with respect to wages, hours, terms and conditions of employment for all certificated employees of the BOARD, except for the Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent for Finance/Operations, Assistant Superintendent for Student Services, Assistant Superintendent for Educational Services, Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, Principals, Assistant Principals, Deans, Coordinators, Directors and Program Supervisors. The BOARD and the UNION recognize their common responsibility to provide high quality education for children of this school district and to endeavor and maintain high morale within the teaching staff.

The City recognizes the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent for certain Longmont Police Department employees so chosen by the members of the bargaining unit in accordance with the provisions of Section 15.5 of Article XV of the Longmont City Charter.

The School Board hereby recognizes the Association as the sole and exclusive bargaining representative for all certified personnel employed by the Greencastle Community School Corporation. Unit representation shall exclude the Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, Director of Special Services, Principals, Assistant Principals, the High School Athletic Director, the Middle School Athletic Director, the High School Guidance Director, and the Middle School Guidance Director. The t er m "teacher," when used hereinafter in this Agreement, shall refer to all ce1iificated employees represented by the Association in the bargaining or negotiating unit as defined above.
Recognition Representation. 1.01 Scope of the Agreement This Collective Agreement shall apply to all teachers, other than supervisory officers, principals, vice-principals or occasional teachers, who are members of the Ontario English Catholic Teachers' Association (OECTA) and who are employed by the Renfrew County Catholic District School Board (the Board) and who are assigned to one or more elementary or secondary schools or to perform duties in respect of such schools all or most of the time.

Recognition Representation. The City recognizes the FOP as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent for certain Department employees so chosen by the members of the bargaining unit in accordance with the provisions of Section 18.4 of Chapter XVIII of the Thornton City Charter.

The City recognizes the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent for certain Longmont Police Department employees so chosen by the members of the bargaining unit in accordance with the provisions of Section 15.5 of Article XV of the Longmont City Charter. In addition to the positions identified in the Charter, the City also agrees that the civilian positions of “Community Service Officer Property & Evidence Custodian,” “Community Service Officer Crime Scene Investigator,” and “Community Service Officer Emergency Communications Technician Systems Specialist” shall be deemed “police employees” for purposes of the Charter and included in the bargaining unit.

The City recognizes the Union as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent with respect to wages, hours and other conditions of employment for all full-time, sworn Firefighter/Paramedic, Firefighter/Paramedic assigned Engineer, and Firefighter/Paramedic assigned Fire Inspector (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Non-Officers”); in addition to Fire Lieutenants and Fire Captains (hereinafter referred to as “Officers”). Excluded from the bargaining unit are the positions of Fire Chief, Deputy Fire Chief, Fire Battalion Chief, Fire Division Chief, and all other supervisory, managerial and confidential employees as defined by the Illinois Public Labor Relations Act; all civilian employees; and all other employees excluded from the definition of “firefighter” as defined in subsection 3(g-1) of the Illinois Public Labor Relations Act.
