Refreshments. The Employer shall continue the current practice of allowing employees to access liquid refreshments (within the Employer’s policy) to enjoy at their work station throughout the shift based on operational requirements.

Refreshments. You are welcome to bring cake and refreshments for your party guests. The Museum does not provide a birthday cake and refreshments. Refreshments are only allowed in the designated party area. Please come prepared to serve your party. The Museum does not supply utensils, napkins, plates, candles, etc. and does not have access to ice/refrigeration, so please bring your own coolers. Alcohol is not permitted. If food will be delivered to the Museum prior to your party, please inform the Birthday Party Attendant of the expected delivery time. The Birthday Party Attendant will notify the Admissions Desk of the expected delivery time. Should you choose to bring outside entertainment, a $50 Museum Fee is applicable. The entertainment must be pre-approved by the Museum. No live animals are allowed, unless they are service animals. Parent/Chaperone supervision during the birthday party is required. Children are not permitted in the Museum’s exhibit areas without parental supervision. During activities in the party area, the Chaperones should assist the children, when necessary, to keep the activity running smoothly. Security officers made be required for larger groups. Refreshments. .01 The City shall make provisions for supplying refreshments to the firefighters on duty at an incident and/or to those who have worked overtime for a period in excess of three (3) hours, or to firefighters who are called back and required to standby for a period in excess of three (3) hours and which occurs over the normal meal time. Further refreshments shall be supplied at the discretion of the Officer in charge of the incident. The Officer in charge shall ensure the costs of such refreshments are within reasonable limits.

Refreshments. Cold food (sandwiches, finger foods, salad, beverages, cake, cookies, etc.) may be provided and served by the renter. Kitchen may be rented and used to arrange and serve cold refreshments. Hot food MAY NOT be provided by the renter without a caterer. Renter will not be permitted to xxxx in the kitchen or heat up food.

Employees shall be entitled to take a paid 10 minute refreshment break during the morning or the first half of a shift, except on Fridays or such other day determined locally in accordance with NAECI 7.1(c) above. Employers shall have the flexibility to plan the most appropriate method and timing of the break, depending on the nature of the work so as to cause the minimum disruption to productive performance including:
(i) Refreshments may be taken at a convenient time during natural breaks in the work, or
(ii) The day/shift may be divided into 3 work periods, or
(iii) During Events, following consultation and the agreement of the parties. The NJC encourages and supports local agreements which provide for the flexible timing of refreshment breaks or which schedule them at the commencement of the day or shift.
