REIMBURSEMENT FOR ACCRUED SICK LEAVE. 1. Upon separation, any employee hired before July 1, 1977, shall be paid fifty percent (50%) of the employee's total accrued sick leave provided such employee has accrued not less than one hundred ninety-two (192) hours of sick leave at the time of separation. Such reimbursement shall be at the employee's salary rate at the time of separation, and reduce the employee's total amount of accrued sick leave to zero.
REIMBURSEMENT FOR ACCRUED SICK LEAVE. In recognition of and appreciation for regular and faithful attendance and service to the Fennville Public Schools, an employee with ten (10) or more years of experience in the district who retires under the Michigan Public Schools Retirement System shall be reimbursed at the rate pursuant to 13.A.1.g for each day of accrued sick leave.
REIMBURSEMENT FOR ACCRUED SICK LEAVE. Employees who have at least 10 years of service with the City shall be compensated at the regular rate of pay at full value for up to 50% of accrued sick leave upon service, disability or industrial disability retirement. Employees must have at least 500 hours of unused accrued sick leave and can be compensated for a maximum of 2,000 of unused accrued sick leave. The remaining unpaid sick hours shall be converted to service credit pursuant to Government Code Section 20965.
REIMBURSEMENT FOR ACCRUED SICK LEAVE. Employee shall have no financial claim to reimbursement for unused sick leave upon leaving City employment, except as follows: ‐ Employees who voluntarily resign after completion of five years of continuous service shall receive 50% of any unused sick leave. Such compensation shall be calculated based on the employee’s existing range and step at the time of resignation. No employee shall receive compensation for more than 1000 hours. ‐ Employees, upon retirement from the City’s service and after completion of five years of continuous service, shall receive 50% of any unused sick leave. REIMBURSEMENT FOR ACCRUED SICK LEAVE. Upon separation, an employee shall be paid fifty percent (50%) of the employee's total accrued sick leave provided such employee has a balance on the books of not less than one hundred ninety-two (192) hours of sick leave at the time of separation. Such reimbursement shall be at the employee's regular rate of pay at the time of separation, and shall reduce the employee's total amount of accrued sick leave to zero. In lieu of being paid, employees hired in a full-time position prior to August 14, 2011 in the 2% at 55 retirement plan may use accrued sick leave toward retirement credit consistent with the retirement contract with XxxXXXX (Article V.D).

Upon separation of any type, other than by disciplinary discharge, an employee may be paid 50% of the employee's total unused and accrued sick leave (not to exceed 1400 hours) or may apply the entire accumulated sick leave accrual balance to PERS service credit. Such reimbursement shall be at the employee's salary rate at the time of separation, and shall reduce the employee's total amount of accrued sick leave to zero.

In recognition of and appreciation for regular and faithful attendance and service to the Fennville Public Schools, an employee with ten (10) or more years of experience in the district who retires under the Michigan Public Schools Retirement System shall be reimbursed at the rate of $15.00 per day for each day of accrued sick leave. This rate of reimbursement will be $30 per day if the retiring employee has used ten (10) or fewer sick days in the final twelve (12) months of service. The 10-day limit will be waived for an employee who is absent due to an absence meeting the FMLA requirements.
