Boot Reimbursement. All employees who are directed to wear steel-toed foot wear on the job shall be reimbursed upon the purchase of approved steel-toed foot wear, receipt required, annual maximum: two hundred fifty dollars ($250). This reimbursement may be used for repair, receipt required, reimbursement limited to actual cost of repairs. Employees who are directed to wear steel-toed foot wear may combine the steel-toed boot reimbursement and clothing allowance, receipts required.

Boot Reimbursement. Where the Employer requires that safety shoes be worn, the employee shall be provided with a safety shoe reimbursement to a maximum of two hundred ($200.00) dollars once every two (2) years upon presentation of a receipt and proof of CSA compliance. New employees will receive the reimbursement upon completion of their probationary period.
Boot Reimbursement a. Employees who are required by the employee’s department to wear safety footwear shall be reimbursed for one pair of boots up to $150 per fiscal year within 30 days of receiving a receipt and request for reimbursement from the employee. b. The footwear must meet ASTM or other industry-approved standards appropriate for the employee’s work assignment and classification, as determined by the Department Director and the Human Resources/Risk Management Director. c. The Human Resources/Risk Management Director shall determine the specific classifications and positions that are eligible for boot reimbursement. General categories of eligible employees include:  Code Compliance Inspectors  Crime Scene Investigator  Rehabilitation Specialist  Equipment Mechanics  Property and Evidence TechnicianPublic Services Maintenance Workers  Rangemaster  Solid Waste Drivers  Water/Wastewater field positions  Any other classification or position required to work in the field and wear safety boots as recommended by the Human Resources/Risk Management Director and approved by the City Manager.

Corrections Officers, Corporals and Sergeants shall be eligible to receive reimbursement for up to two hundred dollars ($200) or purchase order per biennium in receipted costs for black leather rounded toe boots that meet all of the requirements contained in Agency Policy 20.1.6 (Footwear). B. Employees must provide the Institution with a receipt and completed Non Travel Reimbursement Form in order to receive reimbursement. C. Fiscal year boot reimbursement shall not be paid if an employee receives a boot reimbursement/allowance from another outside Agency or Department of Corrections for approved foot protection during the preceding fiscal year except for fire boots provided under Letter of Agreement. Employees receiving such payments must notify their supervisor. D. All footwear above is subject to replacement at the discretion of the Functional Unit Manager prior to the scheduled reimbursement.
Boot Reimbursement. A. All full-time employees will be eligible for $150 boot reimbursement every other calendar year for purchase of Company-approved boots. B. All part-time employees will be eligible for $75 boot reimbursement every other calendar year for purchase of Company-approved boots when the employee works seven hundred (700) hours or more in the preceding year.
Boot Reimbursement. Effective January 1, 2022, the District shall increase the safety boot reimbursement benefit from two hundred dollars ($200) every two (2) years to three hundred dollars ($300) every two (2) years for the period January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2022, which may be used for safety and/or climbing boots to be used for District work, and which boots must be approved by management and purchased in the applicable two (2) year period. Employees may also utilize this benefit for reimbursement of the cost of rebuilding approved safety and/or climbing work boots which cost was incurred in the applicable two (2) year period. The next two (2) year period shall be January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2024 and continuing thereafter. Employees must submit appropriate receipts to be eligible for reimbursement.

Boot Reimbursement. The City will provide up to a $200 reimbursement, once a calendar year, for the purchase of one pair of minimum 6-inch shaft work boots meeting OSHA standards, upon proof of purchase, for all employees that are required to wear work boots as defined by Department guidelines.
Boot Reimbursement. Upon completing one (1) year service and upon proof of purchase of Safety Boots an employee will receive: Effective September 1st, 2003 an employee will receive one hundred and forty dollars ($140.00) per contract year. Effective September 1st, 2004 an employee will receive one hundred and fifty dollars ($150.00) per contract year. If unused this amount can be carried over to the next contract year to a maximum of the two (2) contract years to purchase a better quality of boots. This amount can also be used to rebuild an expensive pair of boots. Receipts must be supplied.
