REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL HOURS. Subject to Article 22 (Client Rights), when client assignment hours are available, current employees in the same client home shall be offered the hours first, and then those in the appropriate geographical service office area shall be offered those hours (as long as the additional hours do not cause an employee to exceed a total of thirty-eighty (38) scheduled client hours in a work week) before new employees are offered those hours in accordance with Article 6, Seniority of this Agreement. All Home Care Providers are to complete and submit an Assignment Preferences/Match Criteria form indicating their availability to work for SLR, and any environmental issues; such as sensitivity to smoke or pets. This availability may be updated as often as necessary. Management staff is to maintain the indicated availability for each Home Care Provider based on their submitted and validated Assignment Preferences Form in the ClearCare system.

REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL HOURS. Each July 3rd, Regular Part-Time Employees who are working less than twenty- four (24) hours per week may advise their supervisor in writing if they are interested in working more hours per week and provide a commitment of availability for the next twelve (12) months. If the supervisor assigns any additional hours, the supervisor will identify whether the revised assignment is temporary or permanent. Changes in Schedule The work schedule may be varied to meet the operational requirements of the College. If the schedule is varied, employees shall be notified in compliance with the Employment Standards Act, 2000. For Regular Part-Time Employees, their schedules will be identified at the time of hiring. If the schedule for a Regular Part-Time Employee is changed, the College will give at least two (2) weeks notice except in circumstances beyond its control.

REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL HOURS. 18.01 A member wishing to request additional hours of work within their job classification, shall inform the Employer by completing an additional hours of work request form and will send it to Human Resource Services by the 15th of each month. Requests for additional hours of work will be maintained until such time that an employee provides notice that they no longer wish to be considered for additional hours of work. Such notification will be provided by completing a new additional hours of work request form noting the desired changes or deletions. The most recent form on file with the Employer that was received before the fifteenth (15th) of the month prior to the term position allocation date will be used for transfer additional hours of work consideration. Request for additional hours will be reviewed following the transfer process as noted in Article 17.
REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL HOURS. The parties agree that additional custodial hours may be requested by the head custodian when extra hours are needed to complete necessary work. Such circumstances will include but are not limited to, inadequate substitute hours to cover the absentee, extra use of the building during non-school hours, extra activities that require additional set-up or clean-up. The Director of Buildings and Grounds or his or her designee may approve additional time and, if so, that time will be allocated to the custodian who will be performing the extra hours of work at the appropriate rate of pay. The labor management committee shall periodically review the extra time requests and allocations, to determine if the building needs are being met and to provide recommendations for adequate staff time, necessary to meet the District custodial needs.
