RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE INSTITUTION. 11.1 The Institution agrees to inform Corresponding Authors that this Licence is in place and that their Eligible Articles can be made Open Access Articles on acceptance in the Licensed Titles.
11.2 The Institution shall ensure that Corresponding Authors shall identify themselves as being eligible, and shall verify the eligibility of a Corresponding Author in the course of the Publisher’s publishing workflow.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE INSTITUTION. 4.1. The Institution shall:
a. In accordance with its Project Proposal set out in Annex 3 to this Agreement, be responsible for Project execution and the monitoring of the achievement of the Project;
b. Procure goods and services required for Project execution in accordance with Sections 1. (a) and (b) of Annex 4, Guidelines for Project Implementation, during the effective period of this Agreement;
c. Comply with the reporting requirements set out in Articles 3.1 and 3.2 in accordance with Section 2. (a) and (b) of Annex 4 Guidelines for Project Implementation, during the effective period of this Agreement;
d. Cooperate fully with the representatives that GS/OAS or the Bank designates in writing, including representatives of the IABIN CATALOG CI as these are defined in Section 1.02. (a) of Annex I to this Agreement, to carry out periodic oversight of the Project and to perform such Project evaluations as GS/OAS or the Bank may be deemed necessary. To this end, the Institution shall allow such persons free access to the premises on which the Project is being executed and to all property, staff, and technical and financial documents pertaining to the Project;
e. Maintain an accounting system, including records and accounts in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, and a financial management system adequate to reflect its progress and financial condition and to register separately the operations, resources and expenditures related to the Project;
f. Keep income and expense vouchers and/or supporting documents for the accounting records of the transactions made with the Project funds for a period of five years after the Agreement is completed;
g. Reimburse any funds contributed by GS/OAS under this Agreement that are unused not later than 60 days after the termination date of this Agreement. This amount shall be reimbursed by means of a remittance in United States dollars, payable to GS/OAS; and
h. In the event that GS/OAS proposes to conduct an audit of the Project funds contributed by GS/OAS during the effective period of this Agreement and/or within three years after the date of completion of the Project, the Institution shall facilitate to GS/OAS representatives such information on financial or operational matters or financial records related to the Project as may be requested and shall allow full, free, and unrestricted access to the functions, activities, operations, records, property, and staff of the Institution, and to the relevant ...
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE INSTITUTION. 6.1 The Institution shall:
6.1.1 use all reasonable efforts to ensure that Authorised Users are made aware of the terms of this Licence;
6.1.2 use all reasonable efforts to ensure that the Authorised Users comply with the terms of this Agreement. The Institution will immediately on becoming aware of any unauthorised use or other breach notify the Publisher and take all reasonable steps to ensure that such activity ceases and to prevent any recurrence;
6.1.3 provide the Publisher with lists of valid IP addresses and update those lists on a regular basis the frequency of which will be agreed by the parties from time to time; and
6.1.4 undertake to the Publisher that the Institution’s computer system through which Licensed Material will be used is configured, and procedures are in place, to prohibit access to the Licensed Material by any person other than an Authorised User, and that during the term of this Licence, the Institution will continue to make best efforts to bar non-permitted access and to convey appropriate use information to its Authorised Users.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE INSTITUTION. 5.1 The Institution will:
5.1.1 issue passwords or other access information only to Authorised Users and use all reasonable efforts to ensure that Authorised Users do not divulge their passwords or other access information to any third party;
5.1.2 use all reasonable efforts to ensure that only Authorised Users are permitted access to the Licensed Material and that such access is by Secure Authentication;
5.1.3 use all reasonable efforts to ensure that all Authorised Users are made aware of and undertake to abide by the terms of this Agreement;
5.1.4 use all reasonable efforts to monitor compliance and notify Publisher immediately and provide full particulars on becoming aware of any of the following (a) any unauthorised use of any of the Institution's password(s); or (b) any breach by an Authorised User of the terms of this Agreement. Upon becoming aware of any breach of the terms of this Agreement the Institution further agrees promptly to fully investigate and initiate disciplinary procedures in accordance with the Institution's standard practice and use all reasonable effort to ensure that such activity ceases and to prevent any recurrence including where necessary by terminating access to the Licensed Material by such unauthorised user and/or such Authorised User;
5.1.5 take all reasonable steps to ensure the security of the Licensed Material; and
5.1.6 provide lists of valid IP addresses to the Publisher and update those lists on a regular basis the frequency of which will be agreed by the parties from time to time.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE INSTITUTION. 6.1 The Institution shall: use all reasonable efforts to ensure that Institutions are made aware of the terms of this Sub-Licence; use all reasonable efforts to ensure that the Institutions comply with the terms of this Agreement. The Institution will immediately on becoming aware of any unauthorised use or other breach notify LIBRARY and take all reasonable steps to ensure that such activity ceases and to prevent any recurrence; provide LIBRARY with lists of valid IP addresses and update those lists on a regular basis the frequency of which will be agreed by the parties from time to time; and
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE INSTITUTION. The Institution agrees to the following:
a. The Institution shall require investigator compliance with IRB determinations and requirements, applicable federal regulations, state and local laws, and, institutional requirements relating to the research. Further, the Institution shall identify the requirements of applicable state or local laws, regulations, institutional policies, and communicate such requirements to Advarra. This policy does not affect any state or local laws or regulations (including tribal law passed by the official governing body of an American Indian or Alaska Native tribe) that may otherwise be applicable and that provide additional protections for human subjects.
b. The Institution shall require the applicable Principal Investigator to provide all information reasonably required by Advarra to conduct its reviews. The Institution may not approve any research study that has been disapproved by Advarra. The Institution may, however, disapprove any study that is approved by Advarra. The Institution agrees to abide by the decisions of Advarra, including the use of the Advarra-approved informed consent document, and shall use its best efforts to ensure that the human subject research performed by the Institution shall be conducted in accordance with those decisions.
c. The Institution shall require that investigators and other study personnel at the Institution are qualified and have appropriate resources to conduct the research, including but not limited to education and training in human research protection regulations. The Institution shall provide documentation of training and education as reasonably requested by Advarra.
d. The Institution shall maintain an institutional process by which complaints about the study can be made by local study participants or others. Complaints that meet criteria as potential unanticipated problems involving risks to subjects or others, or which may be evidence of serious or continuing noncompliance shall be reported to Advarra in accordance with the timeframes specified by Advarra.
e. The Institution shall cooperate with any Advarra investigation regarding noncompliance or unanticipated problem(s) involving risks to subjects or others related to the studies conducted under this Agreement at the Institution. As soon as the Institution is aware of any breach of the terms of this Licence, the Institution further agrees promptly to fully investigate and initiate disciplinary procedures in accordance with the Institution's standard practice and use all reasonable effort to ensure that such activity ceases and to prevent any recurrence.
3. The Institution undertakes to the Publisher that the computer system through which the Licensed Material will be used is configured, and procedures are in place, to prohibit access to the Licensed Material by any person other than an Authorised User, that it shall inform the Authorised Users about the conditions of use of the Licensed Material, and that during the term of this Licence, the Institutions will make best efforts to bar non-permitted access and to convey appropriate use information to its Authorised Users.

9.1.1 provide passwords and other confidential Authentication Information only to Authorised Users and take reasonable steps to prevent Authorised Users from providing such Authentication Information to anyone else;
9.1.2 provide to the Publisher lists of valid IP addresses for the purpose of managing access to the Licensed Material and update those lists regularly as agreed by the parties from time to time;
9.1.3 use reasonable efforts to ensure that only Authorised Users are permitted access to the Licensed Material;
9.1.4 inform the Authorised Users about the conditions of use of the Licensed Material provided for in this Licence and to the extent that such terms apply to them, use reasonable efforts to ensure that all Authorised Users are made aware of and undertake to abide by the terms of this Licence; and
9.1.5 configure the computer system through which the Licensed Material is used by the Institution and Authorised Users securely; put in place procedures, in accordance with reasonably appropriate accepted standards, for the purpose of preventing access to the Licensed Material by any person other than an Authorised User; and take all reasonable steps to monitor and maintain the effectiveness of such procedures.
9.2 The Institution shall use reasonable efforts to monitor compliance with the terms of this Licence and shall promptly notify the Publisher, providing full particulars (to the extent that it is not prohibited by law or contractual obligation from doing so), on becoming aware of any of the following:
9.2.1 any unauthorised access to or use of the Licensed Material or unauthorised use of Authentication Information; or
9.2.2 any act by an Authorised User which may give rise to a breach of this Licence.
9.3 As soon as the Institution is aware of any breach of the terms of this Licence, the Institution shall:
9.3.1 take reasonable steps to investigate such breach for the purpose of ensuring that the relevant activity ceases and preventing any recurrence; and
9.3.2 if the Institution considers this appropriate, take steps against the individual concerned in accordance with the Institution’s disciplinary procedure; and
9.3.3 take all reasonable steps to co-operate with and assist the Publisher in re-establishing the security of the Secure Network and remedying any misuse by Authorised Users of any Licensed Material.
