REST AND WASH-UP PERIODS. 25:01 The Company will schedule a ten (10) minute rest period in each half of each eight (8) hour shift and five (5) minute period before the start of any overtime assignment.
25:02 The Company will schedule a five (5) minute wash-up period at the end of each shift. In the case of overtime, this will be taken at the end of the overtime period.
REST AND WASH-UP PERIODS.
24.01 The Company will allow a period of five (5) minutes for the purpose of washing up, putting away tools prior to the end of the first half (½) and last half (½) of each shift.
24.02 There shall be one ten (10) minute rest period in the first half (½) of each shift and one ten (10) minute rest period in the second half (½) of each shift. The time the rest periods are to be taken is to be determined by management, but so that they will be approximately in the middle of each shift.
REST AND WASH-UP PERIODS. 28.01 Employees shall be given one (1) fifteen (15) minute rest period in each workday in addition to the regular scheduled lunch period.
28.02 Employees are required to be at work at their work stations (or as otherwise) assigned until the buzzer goes to start the rest period or lunch period or end of work day, and are expected to return to work at their work stations as soon as the rest period or lunch period ends.
REST AND WASH-UP PERIODS. 9:01 The Company will give the employees two 10 minute rest periods each day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Two 10 minute rest periods shall apply to all shift workers, and shall come as close to the quarter shift as is practical.
9:02 When overtime is being worked for a scheduled period of 2 hours or more on any one occasion, a 10 minute rest period will be granted to an employee at the end of his regular shift.
9:03 The Company will allow a period of three (3) minutes for the purpose of washing up, immediately prior to the end of the first half shift. Spray Painters will be allowed a period of up to 5 minutes duration at the end of each half shift for the same purpose.

(a) Each employee who works on a shift of less than ten (10) hours shall be afforded a rest period of fifteen (15) minutes duration during the first four (4) hours of the shift and a second rest period of fifteen (15) minutes during the second four (4) hours of their shift.
37.01 (b) Each employee who works on a shift of ten (10) to twelve (12) hours shall be afforded a rest period of fifteen (15) minutes duration during the first four (4) hours of their shift, a second rest period of fifteen (15) minutes during the second four (4) hours of their shift and, during the last two (2) to four (4) hours of their shift, a third rest period of ten (10) minutes duration.
37.02 Each employee coming within the Union shall be afforded a period of ten (10) minutes at the end of each working day for the purpose of washing up at their place of employment.
REST AND WASH-UP PERIODS. 8:01 Every member shall be afforded a rest period of fifteen (15) minutes duration each morning and afternoon at such time and place as may be decided by the Unit Commander concerned, provided that in the case of a member whose duties require that he/she remain at his/her post during his/her tour of duty, he/she shall be allowed to have coffee or other refreshment at his/her post during such period and the rest periods for a member on shift work shall be during the first four-hour and second four-hour periods respectively.
8:02 Every member shall be afforded a period of five minutes immediately prior to lunch break and at the end of each working day for the purpose of washing up at his/her place of employment.

38.01 Where the terms Division Head, Vice-President of Human Resources, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer and Director, Employee and Labour Relations appear in this Collective Agreement, it shall be read to include "or their designate".

The time the rest period(s) are to be taken is determined by management, but so that they will be approximately every two (2) hours.
