RETURN TO WORK FROM EXTENDED LEAVE. The Authority shall commence a return to work plan for all staff on extended leave. This may include parental leave and periods of unpaid or extended study leave. The Authority will undertake to keep employees informed of developments in the workplace. This may include sending employees on leave regular newsletters, work unit memos and copies of the internal advertising of vacant positions Before the employee is due to return to work, the Authority shall inform the employee of their return to work, including their position and re-orientation.

RETURN TO WORK FROM EXTENDED LEAVE. City West Water shall commence a return to work plan for all staff on extended leave. This may include parental leave, periods of unpaid or extended study leave. The plan shall include developing a regular three monthly newsletter informing employees of work related developments. It also includes sending employees on leave regular newsletters, work unit memos and copies of the internal advertising of vacant positions. Three months before the employee is due to return to work, City West Water shall inform the employee of their return to work including their position and re-orientation. Upon the return to work, the employee shall receive five days (pro-rata for less than 12 months maternity leave) of paid return to work training and/or orientation where required and mutually agreed. The days of attendance shall be mutually agreed between the parties and the training and/ or orientation will not replace work which would otherwise be done by permanent employees.

RETURN TO WORK FROM EXTENDED LEAVE. Where an employee is returning from extended leave (leave of six months or more), Council shall provide appropriate return to work arrangements and, where required, assist the employee’s integration back into the work area. Such return to work arrangements may include, but not be limited to, overlap of employment with relief officer where appointed, access to monthly human resource newsletter and copies of current induction and human resource policy and procedures manuals. Where retraining is required, it shall be offered to the employee upon their return to work.
RETURN TO WORK FROM EXTENDED LEAVE. (a) The City of Port Xxxxxxx shall provide a return to work plan for all employees returning to work from extended leave in excess of 12 months and where possible, from periods of serious injury or illness. Upon the employee's return to work, the relevant manager shall discuss with the affected employee the requirement for appropriate training and/or orientation to ensure that they are brought up to date with any changes to work systems and procedures that may have occurred during their period of absence.
RETURN TO WORK FROM EXTENDED LEAVE. Council will endeavour (where practicable) to engage with staff whilst on extended leave including parental leave, long service leave and periods of unpaid or extended study leave. Information to be provided to staff may include newsletters, work unit memos and copies of the internal advertising of relevant vacant positions.

  • Return to Work Programs (a) The parties recognize that prevention of injuries and rehabilitation of injured employees are equally important goals. The parties further recognize that return to work programs are part of a continuum of injury prevention and rehabilitation.
