Route Changes Temporary. As of ratification of this agreement, When a bid area is changed fifty percent (50%) or more, the employee shall have the right to follow the portion in excess of fifty percent (50%) of the delivery stops. If the temporary change involves more than a two-way split, the driver shall be assigned by seniority. Permanent: As of ratification of this agreement, When a driver's bid area is permanently changed by fifty percent (50%) or more of the stops, start time change of more than one (1) hour, or a change of fifty percent (50%) or more of the area or loop, he/she shall have the right to follow whichever portion of his/her bid area he/she desires or allow the job to proceed through the bidding procedure and work as directed. In the event that there are two (2) or more drivers that choose the same split under the above language, seniority shall prevail. In centers where drivers bid on delivery areas, the bid shall contain a description of the area or loop and identify the base line. It is understood that day-to-day adjustments may be made. The above language shall also apply to full-time combination jobs. All job bids shall be filled within ten (10) working days after completion of the bidding process. Section 7. Bidding When any permanent vacancy or opening occurs, it shall be posted for bid and remain posted for five (5) working days. After completion of the job bidding process, a copy of the bid sheet will be given to the Local union Xxxxxxx upon request. Package car drivers shall be limited to three (3) successful bids in a calendar year. Swing and coverage drivers shall bid from a weekly center bid list which will be posted the week prior. Swing and coverage drivers may elect to cover a weekly bid or cover daily vacancies. If a swing driver or coverage driver elects to bid daily coverage work, he/she shall not bump a driver bidding on weekly coverage work. Weekly coverage is defined as those areas open for the entire week. Section 8. Training Routes In order to provide for more favorable training for new employees, the Employer shall designate certain areas in each center to be used as training areas. The training routes currently in place upon ratification of this agreement will remain in place. These training areas will be bid in each center.   • Temporary Schedule Changes Overtime-eligible employees’ workweeks and/or work schedules may be temporarily changed with prior notice from the Employer. A temporary schedule change is defined as a change lasting thirty (30) calendar days or less. With the exception of the job classifications listed in Appendix B, overtime-eligible employees will receive three (3) calendar days’ written notice of any temporary schedule change. The day that notification is given is considered the first day of notice. Adjustments in the hours of work of daily work shifts during a workweek do not constitute a temporary schedule change.

  • Amendments - Changes/Extra Work The Subrecipient shall make no changes to this Contract without the County’s written consent. In the event that there are new or unforeseen requirements, the County has the discretion with the Subrecipient’s concurrence, to make changes at any time without changing the scope or price of the Contract.‌ If County-initiated changes or changes in laws or government regulations affect price, the Subrecipient’s ability to deliver services, or the project schedule, the Subrecipient will give County written notice no later ten (10) days from the date the law or regulation went into effect or the date the change was proposed and Subrecipient was notified of the change. Such changes shall be agreed to in writing and incorporated into a Contract amendment. Said amendment shall be issued by the County-assigned Contract Administrator, shall require the mutual consent of all Parties, and may be subject to approval by the County Board of Supervisors. Nothing herein shall prohibit the Subrecipient from proceeding with the work as originally set forth or as previously amended in this Contract.
