Seniority Preference in Scheduling. Employees shall have preference in respect to annual vacations, within their department and classification, according to seniority with a minimum of one employee in any classification having the right to schedule his/her vacation at anytime. Where an employee chooses to split his/her vacation, his/her second choice of vacation time shall be made only after all other employees concerned have made their initial selection.

Seniority Preference in Scheduling. Employees shall have preference in respect to annual vacations, within their department according to service seniority. Where the employee chooses to split her vacation, her second choice of vacation shall be made only after all other employees concerned have made their initial selection. Only one (1) employee at a time in each department will be scheduled off on vacation unless operational requirements allow for greater flexibility. An employee shall be entitled to receive their vacation to a maximum of four (4) consecutive weeks in an unbroken period. During the prime-time period of May 1st to September 30th, the unbroken period shall not exceed four (4) weeks. No employee shall be entitled to more than four (4) vacation periods per vacation year unless mutually agreed. All vacation requests will be subject to operational requirements.

  • Seniority Tie Breaker The Employer and the Union agree that where there is a tie in seniority between two or more Employees, a determination of seniority shall be made in the following manner:

  • Preference in Vacations Vacations shall be granted first on the basis of seniority.

  • Seniority Rosters Quarterly, the Employer shall prepare a roster of all bargaining unit employees in an institution, geographic jurisdiction or Agency as appropriate. The roster will list employees in descending order of State seniority credits and will contain each employee’s name, State seniority credits, and Institutional seniority credits if applicable. Seniority rosters will be provided to the Chapter President or Assembly President and posted in the work areas of affected employees. Where available, the Employer may provide an electronic posting of the roster in lieu of a paper roster. Each employee’s individual employee seniority credits will be displayed on the employee’s earnings statement.

  • Seniority Dates Upon request, the Employer agrees to make available to the Union the seniority dates of any employees covered by this Agreement. Such seniority dates shall be subject to correction for error on proper representation by the Union.

  • STRS PICK-UP The Board herewith agrees to pick up (assume and pay) contributions to the State Teachers Retirement System (or State Employees Retirement System) on behalf of the unit members in the bargaining unit on the following terms and conditions:
