Settlement Allowance a) The Board agrees to pay a settlement allowance of up to $1,200.00 for teachers commencing employment with this board who remain with the Board for two (2) full years of consecutive teaching.
Settlement Allowance. The Employer agrees to pay to each employee a settlement allowance of (one thousand four hundred and ninety two). Settlement Allowance will be paid to all employees. Full time employees will receive a settlement allowance in equal amounts on a biweekly basis. Casual, part-time, and seasonal employees may be paid the settlement allowance prorated to an hourly rate. The amount of settlement allowance shall be clearly identified on the employees pay stub.
Settlement Allowance. 47.01 A settlement allowance of nine thousand and forty six dollars ($9,046) shall be paid to all full-time, part-time and casual employees. Settlement allowance shall be paid as an hourly rate, up to the maximum of the normal weekly hours of work. The hourly rate shall be calculated by dividing the annual rate by 1956. Settlement allowance shall be paid on each employee's pay cheque.

This allowance shall be divided by 2080 for employees whose normal hours of work are eight (8) per day; and by 1950 for employees whose normal hours of work are seven and one-half (7½) per day. This allowance shall be paid on an hourly basis for all regular hours worked. It shall be paid bi-weekly.
Settlement Allowance a) For a teacher coming on staff from outside Moosonee or Moose Factory Island who actively teaches for the Board for two years, the Board shall provide an allowance for the reasonable costs of moving personal effects and of travel expenses for Teacher and family, from the Teacher’s previous place of residence. This allowance shall be up to a maximum of one thousand seven hundred dollars ($1,700). Sixty percent (60%) of the approved amount of the allowance shall be paid not later than one month from the date of commencement of employment and the remaining forty percent (40%) of the approved amount of the allowance shall be on December 1st of the teacher’s second year of teaching.
Settlement Allowance. 54.01 Effective May 26, 2016 each employee shall receive a Settlement Allowance of $6198 per year. Settlement Allowance shall be paid on an hourly basis for all regular hours earned defined as hours worked, paid leave and time in lieu. Effective April 1, 2017 the Settlement Allowance shall increase to $6322 per year. Effective April 1, 2018 the Settlement Allowance shall increase to $6448 per year. Effective April 1, 2019 the Settlement Allowance shall increase to $6577 per year. Effective May 26, 2016 the hourly rate payable as Settlement Allowance shall be $3.01 for employees whose regular hours of work are eight (8) hours per day, and $3.17 for employees whose regular hours of work are seven and one-half (7½) hours per day. Effective April 1, 2017 the hourly rate payable as Settlement Allowance shall be $3.07 for employees whose regular hours of work are eight (8) hours per day, and $3.23 for employees whose regular hours of work are seven and one-half (7½) hours per day. Effective April 1, 2018 the hourly rate payable as Settlement Allowance shall be $3.14 for employees whose regular hours of work are eight (8) hours per day, and $3.30 for employees whose regular hours of work are seven and one-half (7½) hours per day. Effective April 1, 2019 the hourly rate payable as Settlement Allowance shall be $3.20 for employees whose regular hours of work are eight (8) hours per day, and $3.36 for employees whose regular hours of work are seven and one-half (7½) hours per day.
