Short-term Military Training Sample Clauses

Short-term Military Training. An employee who is a member of the United States Armed Forces Reserve, including the National Guard, upon presentation of a copy of the employee's official orders or appropriate military certification, shall be granted leave with pay during periods in which the employee is engaged in annual field training or other active or inactive duty for training exercises. Such leave with pay shall not exceed seventeen (17) work days in any one (1) federal fiscal year (October 1 - September 30).

Short-term Military Training. An employee who is a member of the United States Armed Forces Reserve, including the National Guard, upon presentation of a copy of the employee's official orders, letter from the Commanding Officer or appropriate military certification, shall be granted leave with pay during periods in which the employee is engaged in annual field training or other active or inactive duty for training exercises. Such leave with pay shall not exceed two hundred and forty (240) hours in any one (1) university fiscal year (July 1 – June 30). Additional leave for training may be taken as ordered by the military, however annual leave, compensatory leave or leave without pay may be utilized to cover the additional time necessary for training.
Short-term Military Training. A faculty member who is a member of the United States Armed Forces Reserve, including the National Guard, upon presentation of a copy of the faculty member's official orders or appropriate military certification, shall be granted leave with pay during periods in which the faculty member is engaged in annual field training or other active or inactive duty for training exercises.   • Military Training Leave An employee who has served with the State of Oregon or its counties, municipalities or other political subdivisions for six (6) months or more immediately preceding an application for military leave, and who is a member of the National Guard or of any reserve components of the armed forces of the United States is entitled to a leave of absence with pay for a period not exceeding fifteen (15) calendar days or eleven (11) workdays in any federal fiscal year. If the training time for which the employee is called to active duty is longer than fifteen (15) calendar days, the employee may be paid for the first eleven (11) days only if such time is served for the purpose of discharging an obligation of annual active duty for training in the military reserve or National Guard.

  • Short Term Sick Leave 8. Each school year, an employee absent beyond the eleven (11) sick leave days paid at 100% of salary, as noted in section 2 above, shall be entitled up to an additional one hundred and twenty (120) days short term sick leave to be paid at a rate of 90 per cent of the employee’s regular salary if the employee is absent due to personal illness including medical appointments as per the collective agreement provisions and practices in effect as at August 31, 2012.

  • Short Term Disability The Employer agrees to provide Short Term Disability benefits to all active full-time employees from the first (1st) day of an accident or the first (1st) full-time day of hospitalized or the fourth (4th) day of sickness. The Plan will pay sixty-six and two thirds percent (66 2/3%) of basic earnings for the first two (2) weeks, then Unemployment Insurance will pay fifteen (15) weeks, then the Plan will resume payments for thirty-five (35 weeks).
