Social Assistance. Improving the Borrower’s social assistance system through, inter alia: (i) designing and implementing a financial management information system for social assistance co-financing to support management of social assistance transferred funds to one hundred thirty-nine (139) municipalities; (ii) providing support to remodel the business processes at SETAS’ level to increase efficiency and enable operational and financial analysis, higher quality and integration of data, reduced redundance of information and streamlined processes for improving the monitoring and evaluation of the use of financial resources; (iii) carrying out of communication and capacity-building to support the implementation of this new system and management tools; and (iv) procuring hardware to support the rollout and implementation of the abovementioned activities.

(b) Expanding the Cadastro Único to increase coverage of vulnerable groups and to be used as a management and planning tool through, inter alia: (i) offering enrollment services in various CRAS; CREAS and CentroPop; (ii) providing active search strategies and promoting the inclusion of priority vulnerable groups, such as the homeless and victims of calamities and emergencies; (iii) improving the data quality of Cadastro Único through, inter alia, household visits; and (iv) developing an information technology system for integration of Cadastro Único and social assistance services systems and other programs. (c) Improving institutional capacity and organizational structure of SEMPRE through, inter alia: (i) implementing standardized instruments and integration tools to strengthen the referrals and counter-referrals of the services provided by PAIF at CRAS; (ii) developing and implementing social protection interventions to address social consequences of natural disasters and pandemics by promoting food security and preventing starvation, protecting loss of income, and providing for safety and social distancing; (iii) improving the information system to monitor the provision of services linked to Cadastro Único with data on case management and referrals; (iv) coordinating the case management of extreme poor families in CRAS services and systems with health and education sectors; (v) carrying out capacity building activities for social workers as part of a municipal plan for continuous education; and (vi) providing Cash Transfers under Benefício Moradia to vulnerable families due to shocks and emergencies. Social Assistance. 4.1 Section 2 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations defines ‘social assistance’ as “any benefit in the form of money, goods or services provided to or on behalf of a person by a province under a program of social assistance, including a program of social assistance designated by a province to provide for basic requirements including food, shelter, clothing, fuel, utilities, household supplies, personal requirements and health care not provided by public health care, including dental care and eye care”. a. Social Assistance. 18.3.1. In extraordinarily serious social cases an employee may be provided with one-time social assistance up to the amount of CZK 50 000. 18.3.2. In the event that an employee dies otherwise than as a result of a work injury, the following social assistance shall be provided to the survivors: - up to CZK 50 000 to the spouse, - up to CZK 55 000 to a child that is entitled to an orphan's pension, - in cases where this is justified, up to 25 000 to the parents of the deceased. 18.3.3. In the event that due to extraordinary weather impacts an employee sustained large-scale damage in the apartment or house where such employee resided permanently at the time of the natural disaster, the employee may be provided with one-time social assistance up to the amount of CZK 75 000.

  • Educational Assistance Section 1. Any employee making the request shall be provided with paid time to work with their Supervisor or Human Resources to develop a training plan for career development within Hennepin County. Human Resources will be a source of career information, and postings, in which the employee may have an interest. Time allotted for this activity and the training plan adopted shall be subject to mutual agreement of the Employee and Supervisor.

  • Technical Assistance DFPS may provide informal support, guidance, clarification, and other forms of technical assistance via phone, email, and virtual meeting to resolve Grant or performance compliance issues. Grantee will document all such instances of technical assistance by DFPS in writing, including any implementation work.

  • Other Assistance Assist SBEs in their efforts to obtain bonds, lines of credit and insurance. (Note that the Agency has a Surety Bond Program that may assist SBEs in obtaining necessary bonding.) The Agency-Assisted Contractor or Contractor(s) shall require no more stringent bond or insurance standards of SBEs than required of other business enterprises.

  • Tuition Assistance Bargaining unit employees can enroll in university or college, vocational technical school or extension courses. The course may be by correspondence or attendance at classes during non-working hours or during working hours with approval of the Agency Head and/or his/her Designee. Where practicable, in relation to work requirements, the Employer shall be liberal with the approval of requests for accrued/unused vacation leave, flex-time scheduling, compensatory time, or leave without pay for the purpose of enabling employees to attend classes conducted during an employee's regularly scheduled work hours.
