Standby Rate Sample Clauses
Standby Rate. The Standby Rate is 75% of the scheduled rate. Xxxxxxx is for a "second" or additional back-up pump to be run in the event the primary pump cannot. If the standby pump operates for any reason other than failure of a primary pump, the standard rate will apply.

Standby Rate. Bargaining unit members scheduled for standby shall be paid the sum of $5.00 per hour for each hour of scheduled standby with the following exception:
Standby Rate. 1. VDOT will pay the Contractor a standard Standby Rate of 50% of the Designated Rate per hour during the authorized standby periods prior to the event starting, after reporting to the Designated VDOT Location and signing in. The Standby Rate will also be paid for cleaning of equipment that contains a VDOT spreader. In this instance a maximum of two hours will be paid.
2. Standby periods shall be during loading and unloading, staging, and any assignment other than actual plowing and/or spreading operations.
3. Standby Rates/payment shall cease for each piece of equipment at the commencement of actual Operational Services or at the release of equipment from use.
Standby Rate. Employees who are requested to standby at their headquarters or work location shall receive:
a) the equivalent of the top L1 Journeyman Power Line Technician hourly rate per day for each scheduled work day;
b) the equivalent of twice the top L1 Journeyman Power Line Technician hourly rate per day for scheduled days off;
c) the equivalent of three (3) times the top L1 Journeyman Lineman Power Line Technician hourly rate per day for Company recognized holidays (14.1a); plus applicable overtime rate for all call-outs. Year Scheduled Work Days Scheduled Days Off Holidays
Standby Rate. The Standby Rate specified in Appendix A will be payable as follows:
(a) during any period of delay when Contractor is unable to proceed because of adverse sea or weather conditions or as a direct result of an act, instruction, or omission of Operator including, without limitation, the failure of any of Operator's Items, or the failure of Operator to issue instructions, provide Operator Items, or furnish services;
(b) during any repairs and/or delays attributable to the location as provided in Paragraph 605;
(c) when daywork operations are suspended to repair the Drilling Unit or other Contractor Items due to blowout, fire, cratering, shifting or punch through at the drilling location, obstacles, or obstructions or the consequences thereof;
(d) during any period of delay during which Contractor is loading or offloading Operator's Items; or
(e) during any period of evacuation of the Drilling Unit caused by adverse sea or weather conditions or other hazardous conditions.
Standby Rate. The Standby Rate specified in Appendix A will be payable as follows:
(a) during any period of delay when Contractor is unable to proceed because of adverse sea or weather conditions, including loop and eddy currents, or as a direct result of an act, instruction or omission of Operator including, without limitation, the failure of any of Operator’s Items, or the failure of Operator to issue instructions, provide Operator’s Items or furnish services;
(b) from the Commencement Date until the moment when the Operating Rate first becomes payable;
(c) during any period after the Commencement Date that the Drilling Unit is under tow, or under way, provided that if, at the termination of this Contract, the Drilling Unit does not go to the location specified in Appendix A, the period shall be the reasonably estimated time required to go to that location specified in Appendix A;
(d) duringanyperiod after the Commencement Date that the Drilling Unitis undergoingperiodicinspections required for the maintenance of the Certification and Classification Certificates;
(e) during any period when operations are suspended to repair the Drilling Unit or other Contractor’s Items as provided in Paragraph 605 or due to blowout, fire, cratering, shifting or punch through at a drilling location;
(f) during any period when operations are being conducted hereunder to redrill or repair the hole drilled
(g) as provided in Paragraph 901.
Standby Rate. Nurses scheduled for standby shall be paid the 5 sum of ten dollars ($10.00) per hour for each hour of scheduled 6 standby.
Standby Rate. Nurses scheduled for standby shall be paid the sum 17 of $15.005.00 per hour for each .hour of scheduled standby with the following 18 exception: 19 Call Back: If a nurse who has been placed on standby and is called back to work 20 for all or any part of the shiprft from which the nurse was placed on standby, the nurse 21 will be paid standby compensation of $15.00 per hour regardless of the applicable 22 standby rate and callback pay as provided in 8.10.2 for all hours actually worked. 24 Nurses scheduled for mandatory standby teams in MDU, CVL, PACU, 25 OR, Dialysis, CVOR and Radiology will be compensated for standby hours on 26 the following pay schedule based on the average scheduled standby hours for all 27 nurses on the team. Average scheduled standby will be determined by taking the 28 total number standby hours covered by the team, divided by the number of 29 members on the team. Standby Rate. The Standby Rate specified in Appendix G shall be payable: (1) if during Rig moves including (a) during the period from the Commencement Date until the Rig arrives at COMPANY's first well location, all anchors have been run and the Rig is ready to commence operations, and (b) during periods when the Rig is moving between COMPANY's well locations and/or the demobilization site (from the moment operations are commenced to retrieve the first anchor at a drilling location, during the tow of the Rig, and until the Rig is properly positioned at OPERATOR's next drilling location, or the demobilization site as applicable, all anchors have been run and the Rig is ready to commence operations), and (c) at the end of the Contract Period and if the CONTRACTOR has immediate follow-on work with another operator, the period from the moment operations are commenced to retrieve the first anchor at the last drilling location until the Rig is under tight tow; or (2) during periods of evacuation; or (3) during periods when operations are suspended due to adverse sea or weather conditions.
