Stewards Program. ‌ MEA may select a total of six (6) stewards for this Unit. MEA shall give to the City's representative a written list of employees who have been selected as stewards. This list shall be kept current by MEA and submitted to the Director of Human Resources every six (6) months. The role of the xxxxxxx is to provide timely MEA representation to employees seeking such assistance in the resolution of employment disputes or potential employment disputes. Stewards, when leaving their work locations to fulfill their responsibilities as xxxxxxx, shall first obtain permission from their immediate supervisor and inform them of the general nature of the business. Permission to leave shall be granted promptly unless such absence would cause undue interruption of work. If such permission cannot be granted promptly the xxxxxxx shall be, if possible, informed when time may be made available. MEA stewards shall complete a time-use slip to document MEA activity time used as part of the allocation set forth herein. This slip shall be initialed by the xxxxxxx using the time and by the supervisor authorizing it. The authorization slip shall be submitted to the Human Resources Department. Xxxxxxx business which is subject to release time according to this Article may be conducted only at City work locations. Employees must track their use of Xxxxxxx business in the City’s timekeeping system by using appropriate payroll codes so that the City can keep accurate, ongoing records of the amount of leave used for the year at any time. Upon entering a work location, the xxxxxxx shall inform the appropriate supervisor of the nature of the business. Permission to leave the job shall be granted promptly to the employee involved unless such absence would cause an undue interruption of work. If the employee cannot be made available, the xxxxxxx shall be immediately informed, if possible, when the employee may be made available. MEA agrees that a xxxxxxx shall not log compensatory time (which is only applicable to a Xxxxxxx in the full-time MEA unit) or overtime pay for the time spent performing any function of a xxxxxxx. To the extent possible, due to the nature of part-time employment, the City expects some of the stewards to conduct association related business on their own time.

  • Stewards Each UNION shall have the right to designate a working journeyman as a xxxxxxx. The UNION shall notify the EMPLOYER in writing of the identity of their designated xxxxxxx. In addition to his work as an employee, the xxxxxxx shall have the right to receive, but not to solicit, complaints or grievances, and to discuss and assist in the adjustment of the same with the employee's appropriate supervisor. The EMPLOYER will not discriminate against the xxxxxxx in the proper performance of his union duties. The xxxxxxx shall not leave his work area without first notifying his appropriate supervisor or xxxxxxx as to his intent and the reason thereof, he can be reached, and the estimated time that he will be gone. Stewards shall not have the right to determine when overtime shall be worked or who shall work overtime. The EMPLOYER shall have the right to implement a system of written accountability of time spent by all stewards in the performance of their duties whenever they deem such action necessary. The presence or absence of the xxxxxxx shall not affect the work of the craft. The xxxxxxx, in addition to this work as a journeyman, will be permitted to perform during the work hours such of his normal UNION duties as cannot be performed at other times. The UNION agrees that such duties shall be performed as expeditiously as possible and the EMPLOYER agrees to allow the xxxxxxx a reasonable amount of time to perform such duties. The xxxxxxx shall receive his regular craft rate of pay. The xxxxxxx'x duties shall not include any matters relating to any supervisory function over which the EMPLOYER retains sole control. If a xxxxxxx violates any of the rules of this Article, or fails to work or competently perform work assignments, the EMPLOYER shall have the right to take whatever action deemed appropriate, including termination. The working xxxxxxx designated for one EMPLOYER has no authority with regard to the work of another EMPLOYER. If he should become involved in the affairs or disputes of another EMPLOYER, he will be subject to discharge. The EMPLOYER agrees to notify the UNION two (2) working days, confirmed in writing stating the cause, prior to termination of the working xxxxxxx except for a violation of work rules. The xxxxxxx shall be the last EMPLOYEE laid off provided he is qualified to perform the remaining work of the EMPLOYER.

  • The Program The Program is a comprehensive commercial energy efficiency program that offers financial incentives and financing for qualifying energy efficiency measures in commercial buildings to customers who are property owners, tenants or managers (customers) of ACE in New Jersey. Customers must receive ACE electric delivery service and be in good standing. Incentives are available to customers for the purchase and installation of qualifying energy-efficiency measures at the location where the qualifying project is to be installed. ACE will not offer financial incentives for the same eligible measure to those customers who have received financial incentives or rebates from other ACE energy efficiency programs.

  • Educational Program A. DSST PUBLIC SCHOOLS shall implement and maintain the following characteristics of its educational program in addition to those identified in the Network Contract at DSST XXXX MIDDLE SCHOOL (“the School” within Exhibit A-3). These characteristics are subject to modification with the District’s written approval:

  • Quality Assurance Program An employee shall be entitled to leave of absence without loss of earnings from her or his regularly scheduled working hours for the purpose of writing examinations required by the College of Nurses of Ontario arising out of the Quality Assurance Program.

  • Training Program It is agreed that there shall be an Apprenticeship Training Program, the provisions of which are set forth in Exhibit "D", which is attached hereto and forms part of this Agreement.

  • Bonus Programs Employee may participate in any incentive program which may be made available from time to time to Corporation’s employees at Employee’s level; provided, however, that Employee’s participation is subject to the applicable terms, conditions and eligibility requirements of the program, as they may exist from time to time.

  • Bonus Program You will be eligible for an annual target bonus of 35% of your annual base salary as determined by the Board in its sole discretion based upon, among other things, the achievement of pre-determined performance milestones. Any annual bonus, if earned, shall be paid no later than March 15th of the year immediately following the year to which the applicable annual bonus relates.

  • In-Service Programs The parties to this collective agreement recognize the value of in-service education both to the employee and the Employer. A) The Employer reserves the right to identify specific in-service programs deemed compulsory. B) Employees required to attend such programs will be paid at the applicable rate of pay.

  • Incentive Programs During the Term of Employment, the ------------------ Executive shall be entitled to participate in any annual and long-term incentive programs adopted by the Company and which cover employees in positions comparable to that of the Executive.

  • Stewardship The efficient and effective management of the public funds that have been entrusted to the FHWA.
