SUBSTITUTE MUSICIANS. The Committee shall consist of three (3) musicians. The Musical Director/Conductor, the Contractor and the Assistant Contractor shall not be eligible for election to the Committee. A member of an existing Players' Committee may continue to participate on a Players' Committee for a new production where practicable and agreed to by the contracted musicians.
SUBSTITUTE MUSICIANS. Contracted musicians shall have the right to engage permissible substitutes during the run of the show. The intent of the foregoing is to allow musicians to absent themselves for reasons which include but are not limited to: - obtaining occasional outside employment of limited duration. - maintaining interest and professionalism during the run of the show. - avoiding loss of identity in the market place. Permission for musicians to be absent shall not be unreasonably denied. Prior to the actual date on which all contracted musicians become eligible to absent themselves each musician shall furnish the Musical Director/Conductor with a list of available substitutes for the musician's chair. The Musical Director/Conductor shall review each musician's list to determine whether a substitute is acceptable. The approval of a substitute shall not be unreasonably denied. If the Musical Director/Conductor finds a substitute unacceptable the musician shall replace the substitute with an acceptable substitute. The Musical Director/Conductor may requie more than two substitutes for certain chairs. A substitute shall make best efforts to adequately prepare the musical part prior to the first performance in the orchestra pit. The Producer shall provide properly marked study parts and a recording of a performance of the production for the use of substitutes. Not later than the Friday of the first week of paid public performances of the Production the Players' Committee and the Musical Director/Conductor shall meet to determine: - that the orchestra sections as specified by the Musical Director/Conductor are satisfactory for the purposes of determining the allowable number of substitutes per section. These sections may include but are not limited to; Strings, Trumpets, Horns, Trombones, Clarinets, Flutes, Oboe/Bassoon, Harp, Keyboards, Guitar/Bass, and Drums/Percussion. - How many substitutes may appear in each orchestra section during a performance. (Notwithstanding, not more than one new substitute shall be allowed in any given section during any performance). Once the contracted musician's list of substitutes has been accepted, each substitute therein becomes subject to the Musical Director/Conductor's further approval by virtue of the substitutes performance. SUBSTITUTE MUSICIANS. The COC hereby authorizes the Personnel Manager to provide a substitute musician on a short- term basis for any musician who, by illness or absence, does not perform any or all of the services for which said musician has been engaged. The agreement of the musician(s) to perform is subject to proven detention by sickness, accidents, or accidents to means of transportation, riots, strikes, epidemics, acts of God, or any other legitimate conditions beyond the control of the musician(s). Permission to send a substitute shall be at the discretion of the Artistic Director or Designate and the Personnel Manager.
SUBSTITUTE MUSICIANS. 19.1 A musician may provide a substitute with the consent of the Musical Director/Conductor, whose approval shall not be unreasonably denied.
SUBSTITUTE MUSICIANS. A Substitute Musician is a musician employed by the Employer as a substitute for an absent Musician or as an extra player. Substitute Musicians shall be hired by the Employer from a list which has been compiled by the principal and tenured members of the appropriate section. The violin and percussion lists shall have a minimum of seven (7) names; all other lists shall have a minimum of five (5) names.

  • SKILLED TRADES The provisions of the General Agreement shall apply to employees in the Skilled Trades classifications except as altered by the provisions of this Article.

  • Leave for Association Business The Hospital agrees to grant leaves of absence, without pay, to nurses selected by the Association to attend Association business including conferences, conventions and Provincial Committee meetings and to any nurse elected to the position of Local Co-ordinator. The cumulative total leave of absence, the amount of notice, the number of nurses that may be absent at any time from one area and the number of days (including those of the Local Co-ordinator) is set out in the Appendix of Local Provisions. During such leave of absence, a nurse's salary and applicable benefits or percentage in lieu of fringe benefits shall be maintained by the Hospital and the local Association agrees to reimburse the Hospital in the amount of the daily rate of the full-time nurse or in the amount of the full cost of such salary and percentage in lieu of fringe benefits of a part-time nurse except for Provincial Committee meetings which will be reimbursed by the Association. The Hospital will bill the local Association within a reasonable period of time. Part-time nurses will receive service and seniority credit for all leaves granted under this Article.

  • Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise Participation Pursuant to Education Code section 71028 and Public Contract Code section 10115, the District may have a participation goal for disabled veteran business enterprises (DVBEs) of at least three (3) percent per year of funds expended each year by the District on projects that use funds from the California Community College Chancellor’s Office. This Project may use funds allocated under the Act. Therefore, to the extent feasible and pertaining to future hirings, the Consultant, before it executes the Agreement, shall provide to the District certification of compliance with the procedures for implementation of DVBE contracting goals, appropriate documentation identifying the amount(s) intended to be paid to DVBEs in conjunction with the contract, and documentation demonstrating the Consultant’s good faith efforts to meet these goals.

  • DEPENDENT PERSONAL SERVICES 1. Subject to the provisions of Articles 16, 18 and 19, salaries, wages and other similar remuneration derived by a resident of a Contracting State in respect of an employment shall be taxable only in that State unless the employment is exercised in the other Contracting State. If the employment is so exercised, such remuneration as is derived therefrom may be taxed in that other State.

  • Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises This section is applicable if Contractor received a disabled veteran business enterprise (“DVBE”) incentive in connection with this Agreement. Contractor’s failure to meet the DVBE commitment set forth in its bid or proposal constitutes a breach of the Agreement. If Contractor used DVBE subcontractor(s) in connection with this Agreement: (i) Contractor must use the DVBE subcontractors identified in its bid or proposal, unless the Judicial Council approves in writing replacement by another DVBE subcontractor in accordance with the terms of this Agreement; and (ii) Contractor must within sixty (60) days of receiving final payment under this Agreement certify in a report to the Judicial Council: (1) the total amount of money Contractor received under the Agreement; (2) the name and address of each DVBE subcontractor to which Contractor subcontracted work in connection with the Agreement; (3) the amount each DVBE subcontractor received from Contractor in connection with the Agreement; and (4) that all payments under the Agreement have been made to the applicable DVBE subcontractors. A person or entity that knowingly provides false information shall be subject to a civil penalty for each violation.

  • INDEPENDENT PERSONAL SERVICES 1. Income derived by a resident of a Contracting State in respect of professional services or other activities of an independent character shall be taxable only in that State except in the following circumstances, when such income may also be taxed in the other Contracting State:

  • Employee Family Assistance Program (EFAP) services and the PEBT The Parties request that the PEBT Board undertake a review to assess the administering of all support staff Employee Family Assistance Program (EFAP) plans.

  • Contractor’s Bid or Mini-Bid Proposal f. Unincorporated Appendices (if any).

  • Professional Dress In as much as teachers are role models for students, each teacher shall maintain a neat, professional appearance appropriate for his/her specific teaching assignment.

  • Community Based Adult Intensive Service (AIS) and Child and Family Intensive Treatment (CFIT) – AIS/CFIT programs offer services primarily based in the home and community for qualifying adults and children with moderate- to-severe mental health conditions. These programs consist at a minimum of ongoing emergency/crisis evaluations, psychiatric assessment, medication evaluation and management, case management, psychiatric nursing services, and individual, group, and family therapy. In a Provider’s Office/In Your Home This plan covers individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, and family therapy when rendered by: • Psychiatrists; • Licensed Clinical Psychologists; • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Workers; • Advance Practice Registered Nurses (Clinical Nurse Specialists/Nurse Practitioners- Behavioral Health); • Licensed Mental Health Counselors; and • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists. Psychological Testing This plan covers psychological testing as a behavioral health benefit when rendered by: • neuropsychologists; • psychologists; or • pediatric neurodevelopmental specialists. This plan covers neuropsychological testing as described in the Tests, Labs and Imaging section.
