Substitution (Trading) of Time. If a member, with the approval of the member's supervisor and solely at the member's option, agrees to substitute during scheduled work hours for another member of the same rank, the hours the member works as substitute shall be excluded in the calculation of hours which the member is entitled to overtime. The Division is permitted, but not required, to keep a record of the hours of the substitute work.

Substitution (Trading) of Time. If a member, with the approval of his or her supervisor, and solely at the member’s option, agrees to substitute during scheduled hours for another member, except as required by the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), the hours the member works as a substitute shall be excluded by the Authority in the calculation of hours worked for purposes of computing overtime eligibility.‌ A member whose shift is worked by another member will not be permitted to take vacation or compensatory time for the shift, which he or she has agreed to work in trade. The member who works the shift for the originally assigned member will be paid his or her regular rate of pay for the shift. Where a supervisor’s approval has been received allowing members to substitute for one another or trade shifts, it is the responsibility of the member originally assigned to the shift to ensure that the assignment is fulfilled.

Members substituting work hours shall not request, nor will they be approved for time off in any manner as outlined in this contract or Township Handbook. This includes the Resolution entered into on June 17, 2019 by the Police Chief and the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) Lodge #9 which states, “The parties agree that if an officer is utilizing personal leave time in lieu of sick time, the sick leave policy applies. For all other uses, personal leave time cannot be denied if the request is made at least 24 hours prior to the start of that officer’s scheduled shift.”

  • Shift Exchange The Employer and the Union agree that shift exchanges are a useful process to allow employees more flexibility and improved work/life balance. Employees within an institution who have the same job classification will be allowed to exchange full shifts for positions in which they are qualified. The shift exchange process will not be used to circumvent the bid system or the supervisory chain of command. Shift exchanges will be in accordance with the following:

  • Shift Exchanges In no event shall any overtime be payable as a result of employees voluntarily exchanging shifts.

  • Time Clock All employees may be required to punch a time clock, including whenever they leave the building during normal working hours. All employees are entitled to at least a one-half hour lunch period. A time clock need not be punched for the lunch period.

  • Trunk Data Exchange 65.9.1 Each Party agrees to service trunk groups to the blocking criteria in Section 64.3.4 in a timely manner when trunk groups exceed measured blocking thresholds on an average time consistent busy hour for a twenty-one (21) Day study period. The Parties agree that twenty-one (21) Days is the study period duration objective unless mutually agreed otherwise. The study period will not include a holiday.

  • Delivery time 7.1. The delivery time shall start as soon as the contract is entered into, all official formalities have been completed, payments due with the order have been made, any agreed securities given and the main technical points settled. The delivery time shall be deemed to be observed if by that time XXXXXX has sent a notice to the customer informing him that the supplies are ready for dispatch.

  • Additional Time If because of events beyond the Design Professional’s reasonable control, it is not able to meet the specified time period, then it should be entitled to ask the Owner for additional time, which request shall not be unreasonably denied.

  • Stock Exchange Listing The shares of Common Stock have been approved for listing on the NASDAQ Capital Market (the “Exchange”), and the Company has taken no action designed to, or likely to have the effect of, delisting the shares of Common Stock from the Exchange, nor has the Company received any notification that the Exchange is contemplating terminating such listing except as described in the Registration Statement, the Pricing Disclosure Package and the Prospectus.

  • Data Exchange Each Party shall furnish to the other Party real-time and forecasted data as required by ERCOT Requirements. The Parties will cooperate with one another in the analysis of disturbances to either the Plant or the TSP’s System by gathering and providing access to any information relating to any disturbance, including information from oscillography, protective relay targets, breaker operations, and sequence of events records.
