Summary and Purpose. The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (the Department), in consultation with the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH), has selected a remedy for the above referenced site. The disposal of contaminants at the site has resulted in threats to public health and the environment that would be addressed by the remedy. The disposal or release of contaminants at this site, as more fully described in this document, has contaminated various environmental media. Contaminants include hazardous waste and/or petroleum. The remedy is intended to attain the remedial action objectives identified for this site for the protection of public health and the environment. This Record of Decision (ROD) identifies the selected remedy, summarizes the other alternatives considered, and discusses the reasons for selecting the remedy. The 1996 Clean Water/ Clean Air Bond Act provides funding to municipalities for the investigation and cleanup of brownfields. Brownfields are abandoned, idled, or under-used properties where redevelopment is complicated by real or perceived environmental contamination. They typically are former industrial or commercial properties where operations may have resulted in environmental contamination. Brownfields often pose not only environmental, but legal and financial burdens on communities. Under the Environmental Restoration Program, the state provides grants to municipalities to reimburse up to 90 percent of eligible costs for site investigation and remediation activities. Once remediated, the property can then be reused. The Department has issued this document in accordance with the requirements of New York State Environmental Conservation Law and 6 NYCRR Part 375. Summary and Purpose. The purpose of this Partnership Agreement is to set out the management structures, roles and responsibilities and expectations of the University of Worcester, School of Education, Initial Teacher Training and Education Partnership (‘The Partnership’). The Partnership is a shared commitment to pursue high quality initial teacher education and training (ITTE) to provide trainees with the best possible preparation for the teaching profession. The commitment recognises that expert colleagues in the partnership, and staff in the university, have distinctive contributions, roles and responsibilities. The Secondary PGCE programme is a partnership between individual schools and the University of Worcester offering core and school direct routes. This partnership agreement seeks to be a clear, working document used to guide and inform the contributions of each partner and to support coherent arrangements across the various contexts in which the training takes place. The partnership agreement must be understood and used for communication between all partners for the co-ordination of teacher training and education. The Partnership Agreement has a duration of 3 years but either party can terminate on 3 months written notice or earlier for material breach or insolvency.
