Time Off With Pay In Lieu Of Overtime. The Police Chief may, whenever he considers that the best interests of the City will be served, order that an employee may take time off work with pay in lieu of overtime pay. Time off with pay shall be given for a period equal to the appropriate overtime rate. Accrued in-lieu time shall be used by the employee within 30 days after it is earned, unless extended by the Police Chief. The Police Chief shall not permit any employee to accumulate in lieu time in excess of 200 hours beyond the end of a calendar year without the approval of the City Manager. Overtime earned working on jobs for which the City is reimbursed ("billable hours") are not eligible to be paid in time off in lieu of overtime payment. (AP II-12)

Time Off With Pay In Lieu Of Overtime. Effective December 16, 2007, employees may accumulate in-lieu time to a maximum of 200 hours for 40-hour assignments or 280 hours for 56-hour assignments. However, only employee recall or other overtime mandated by the department may be banked as in-lieu time and only at the discretion and approval of the Fire Chief. All other overtime will be paid.

  • Time Off in Lieu of Overtime Employees who work overtime will not be required to take time off in regular hours to make up for overtime worked. Time off in lieu may be taken on a mutually agreed upon basis between the employee and the Hospital, such time off will be the equivalent of the premium rate the employee has earned for working overtime. The Hospital shall revert to payment of premium rate if time off is not taken within sixty (60) calendar days."

  • Payment of Overtime For the purposes of calculating overtime payments, each day or shift will stand-alone.

  • Retiree Benefits – Process for Payment Any bargaining unit nurse who retires and wishes to participate in the benefit plans as outlined in article 17.01(h) will provide advance payment of the benefits either through post-dated cheques provided on a yearly basis or through a preauthorized withdrawal process. It is understood that any transaction would be dated the first of each and every month.   • FILOT PAYMENTS Pursuant to Section 12-44-50 of the FILOT Act, the Company and any Sponsor Affiliates, as applicable, are required to make payments in lieu of ad valorem taxes to the County with respect to the Economic Development Property. Inasmuch as the Company anticipates an initial investment of sums sufficient for the Project to qualify for a fee in lieu of tax arrangement under Section 12-44-50(A)(1) of the FILOT Act, the County and the Company have negotiated the amount of the FILOT Payments in accordance therewith. The Company and any Sponsor Affiliates, as applicable, shall make payments in lieu of ad valorem taxes on all Economic Development Property which comprises the Project and is placed in service, as follows: the Company and any Sponsor Affiliates, as applicable, shall make payments in lieu of ad valorem taxes during the Exemption Period with respect to the Economic Development Property or, if there are Phases of the Economic Development Property, with respect to each Phase of the Economic Development Property, said payments to be made annually and to be due and payable and subject to penalty assessments on the same dates and in the same manner as prescribed by the County for ad valorem taxes. The determination of the amount of such annual FILOT Payments shall be in accordance with the following procedure (subject, in any event, to the procedures required by the FILOT Act):

  • Equalization of Overtime Overtime shall be equalized as much as possible within each division. The parties agree that when bargaining unit employees work overtime in divisions other than his/her regular division, then those hours of overtime worked are to be figured into the employee’s overtime hours in his/her regular division for the purpose of equalizing the overtime within the division. (a) Employees shall be required to provide one (1) telephone number in order to be contacted for call-out assignments. Employees at their option may provide a second telephone number at which to be contacted. However, failure to provide a second number shall not be considered a loss and/or denial of an overtime opportunity. (b) Failure to respond and a refusal to any call-out/overtime opportunity shall be charged against the employee as if worked. (c) Employees who respond to the call/out overtime and actually work shall be charged for hours worked. (d) Employees who are off work due to vacation, compensatory time, sick leave for someone other than themselves or light duty (providing the call-out assignment is consistent with the applicable light duty restrictions), shall at their choice be available for call-out situations. If the employee chooses to work the call-out, he/she will be charged the overtime worked. Also, an employee who is off due to military service is considered not available for overtime and shall not be charged overtime hours. Employees transferring to a different division shall receive for purposes of overtime equalization the average amount of overtime worked that the existing personnel within the division and classification possess at the time of transfer in order to equalize overtime under Article 11. For the purposes of this Agreement, any refusal of overtime in other divisions will be charged to the employee in his/her regular division as if he/she had actually worked those hours, in accordance with Article 12(E) (Temporary Reassignments).

  • Living Away From Home Allowance When Employees are to be engaged on a Project requiring them to live away from home, the provisions of Appendix I will apply in determining their entitlement and the conditions whilst they are living away from home.

  • Overtime Distribution The Employer and the Union will discuss Departmental or agency specific overtime distribution policies at the Departmental or agency level. The Employer agrees to follow its existing overtime distribution policies until changed as a result of Employer/Union negotiation.

  • Notice of Overtime The Agency shall give as much notice as possible of overtime to be worked.

  • Rollovers of Settlement Payments From Bankrupt Airlines If you are a qualified airline employee who has received a qualified airline settlement payment from a commercial airline carrier under the approval of an order of a federal bankruptcy court in a case filed after September 11, 2001, and before January 1, 2007, you are allowed to roll over any portion of the proceeds into your Xxxx XXX within 180 days after receipt of such amount, or by a later date if extended by federal law.   • Payment of Operating Expenses Subject to the provisions of Section 6.08(c), Borrower will (i) pay the expenses of operating, managing, maintaining and repairing the Mortgaged Property (including utilities, Repairs and Capital Replacements) before the last date upon which each such payment may be made without any penalty or interest charge being added, and (ii) pay Insurance premiums at least 30 days prior to the expiration date of each policy of Insurance, unless applicable law specifies some lesser period.
