Time Off in Lieu of Overtime Payment. Pursuant to Article 14.09 of the Collective Agreement, an employee may bank up to one hundred and fifty (150) hours as lieu time off for overtime worked. Any hours above one hundred and fifty (150) shall be paid out at the appropriate hourly rate. This provision will apply to both full time and regular part time employees. Lieu time resulting from overtime worked shall be taken at a mutually agreeable time.
Time Off in Lieu of Overtime Payment. An employee may elect to take time off in lieu of payment for all Overtime worked. The time taken will be at the penalty rate, which means that for each hour worked, the employee will be entitled to one and a half hours time in lieu. Time in lieu of payment for Overtime worked on a Sunday will be at double time, which means that for each hour worked, the employee will be entitled to two hours time in lieu. An employee may request to work 2 hours Overtime per week, every week as part of a fixed roster. An employee working such Overtime will not be paid for those 2 hours, but will accrue 2 hours paid time in lieu. Accrued time in lieu will be taken on one day every four weeks, on a regular basis.
Time Off in Lieu of Overtime Payment. Time off in lieu of payment for overtime shall be allowed on the basis of time off credit for actual hours worked, with the premium portion of the overtime being paid out. Time off credits shall be calculated to the nearest one half (1/2) day, and the balance paid out at the time the employee elects to take time off, or as otherwise mutually agreed. The accumulation shall not exceed seventy (70), seventy-five (75) or eighty (80) hours, as the case may be, in any calendar year. No accumulation of overtime shall be carried forward into the following year except overtime accumulated after August 31st of the calendar year, which shall be taken by April 30th of the following year. Time off is to be taken as mutually agreed by the employee's General Manager and the employee concerned at the employee's regularly classified rate. However, when an employee works overtime in a higher classification, the difference between such employee's regular classified rate and the higher rate, shall be paid out and not accumulated. The employee shall request such accumulation at the time of reporting any overtime hours.
Time Off in Lieu of Overtime Payment. (a) If an employee works overtime and agrees to time off in lieu of overtime, the University may, instead of paying overtime, give the employee time off for a period equal to the overtime hours that would have been payable. For example, four (4) hours overtime worked at double time is equal to eight (8) hours time off in lieu of overtime payment.
Time Off in Lieu of Overtime Payment. Instead of cash payment for overtime an employee may choose to receive time off in lieu. Time off in lieu shall be calculated as the monetary value of the employee's overtime worked divided by the employee’s regular straight time rate. Time off in lieu shall not accumulate beyond the equivalent of one normal work week, and shall be taken at a time that is mutually agreeable to the employee and the Corporation. Overtime shall be paid as per Article 12.04 unless specifically allocated by the employee to time off in lieu at the time the overtime is worked.
Time Off in Lieu of Overtime Payment. (a) An employee may elect, with the consent of the Company, to take time off in lieu of payment for overtime at a time or times agreed with the Company.
Time Off in Lieu of Overtime Payment. 16.3.1 Notwithstanding the foregoing, overtime earned by an Employee may be banked and taken as time off in lieu of overtime payment at a time mutually agreed between the Employee and the Executive Director.
Time Off in Lieu of Overtime Payment. Time off is to be taken as mutually agreed by the employee's supervisor and the employee concerned at the average hourly rate at which the time was accumulated. The employee shall request such accumulation at the time of reporting any overtime rates. No accumulation of overtime shall be carried forward to the following year.

(a) If an Employee works overtime and agrees with their manager to get time off in lieu of an overtime payment, UNSW may give the Employee paid time off work for a period equal to the period of overtime for which the Employee would otherwise have been paid.
