- TUITION-FREE ATTENDANCE OF UNIT MEMBERS' CHILDREN. Non-resident bargaining unit members may enroll their natural, adopted (by court order) and custodial (by court order) children in the district’s schools tuition free provided they have not been suspended or expelled from any public or private school. The conditions under which the students may enroll are as follows: 1. Residents of the school district (including those pursuing intra- district school enrollment) shall always have first priority in enrollment. 2. Among the children of Non-resident Bargaining Unit Members who qualify, enrollment and placement shall be on a first come, first serve, space available basis, provided however, that children previously enrolled in the district shall have priority, for re-enrolling the following year, over children of non-resident bargaining unit members who are seeking to enroll for the first time. 3. Non-resident Bargaining Unit Members, and their children, are required to satisfy all the requirements of the District’s policies regarding intra-district school enrollment and non-resident students/tuition, except that the payment of tuition is not required. 4. In the event, that a Non-resident Bargaining Unit Member enrolls a child in the school district and the child’s condition requires excessive expenditures on the part of the District, the Unit Member shall reimburse the District the difference in costs as compared to the District’s statutory tuition rate. Should any court or agency rule that the receding sentence, for whatever reason, is unenforceable, then this entire Section will cease to exist. 5. Any student receiving free tuition, as a condition of the continued receipt of free tuition, shall maintain at least a C average.
- TUITION-FREE ATTENDANCE OF UNIT MEMBERS' CHILDREN. LATCHKEY A. Non-­‐resident bargaining unit members who are scheduled to regularly work at least 19 hours per week may enroll their natural, adopted, and custodial children in the District’s K-­‐12 schools, tuition free. Actual placement will be on a first come, first serve, space available basis except that once enrolled, the given children will have first priority for re-­‐enrolling the following year. The Superintendent or his/her designee will respond in writing to the requests by July 1 of the given year. B. Any student receiving free tuition, as a condition of the continued receipt of free tuition, shall maintain a C average. No student shall be enrolled under this Section if that student has been expelled from another Ohio Public School and the period of expulsion has not expired. C. Latchkey services will be available to all bargaining unit employees when their regularly-­‐ scheduled work hours coincide with the operational hours of Northmont City School’s Latchkey Program. Only programs run through Northmont City Schools are eligible for students in grades K through 6. All latchkey rules and expectations shall apply for students. Late fees will apply if students are picked up after operating hours. Employees must designate one building and register at that building for the school year. The effectiveness and impact of this benefit will be gathered during the duration of this Agreement and re-­‐evaluated at the termination of this Agreement. Each employee family may have not more than two (2) children enrolled in the benefit-­‐related Latchkey Program. Additional children may be enrolled at the applicable latchkey rate.
- TUITION-FREE ATTENDANCE OF UNIT MEMBERS' CHILDREN. ‌ Full-time unit members who live outside the District will be permitted to enroll their natural, adopted or custodial children in the District’s schools on a tuition-free basis, according to the terms of Board policy and the following conditions: A. The Superintendent has determined that space is available. B. The Superintendent receives a written application annually by June 1st. C. All such children shall maintain at least a cumulative 2.0 grade point average to remain eligible for continued free attendance in the District. D. No student shall be enrolled if the student has been suspended or expelled from another Ohio public school and the period of suspension or expulsion has not expired. The Superintendent/designee will respond to written applications by July 1st each year.

  • Public Benefit It is Reaction Retail’s understanding that the commitments it has agreed to herein, and actions to be taken by Reaction Retail under this Settlement Agreement, would confer a significant benefit to the general public, as set forth in Code of Civil Procedure § 1021.5 and Cal. Admin. Code tit. 11, § 3201. As such, it is the intent of Reaction Retail that to the extent any other private party initiates an action alleging a violation of Proposition 65 with respect to Reaction Retail’s failure to provide a warning concerning exposure to DEHP prior to use of the Products it has manufactured, distributed, sold, or offered for sale in California, or will manufacture, distribute, sell, or offer for sale in California, such private party action would not confer a significant benefit on the general public as to those Products addressed in this Settlement Agreement, provided that Reaction Retail is in material compliance with this Settlement Agreement.

  • Special Enrollment a. KFHPWA will allow special enrollment for persons: 1) Who initially declined enrollment when otherwise eligible because such persons had other health care coverage and have had such other coverage terminated due to one of the following events: • Cessation of employer contributions. • Exhaustion of COBRA continuation coverage. • Loss of eligibility, except for loss of eligibility for cause. 2) Who initially declined enrollment when otherwise eligible because such persons had other health care coverage and who have had such other coverage exhausted because such person reached a lifetime maximum limit. KFHPWA or the Group may require confirmation that when initially offered coverage such persons submitted a written statement declining because of other coverage. Application for coverage must be made within 31 days of the termination of previous coverage. b. Application for coverage for the Subscriber and Dependents other than the newborn child must be made within 60 days of the date of birth. 3) Adoption or placement for adoption. Application for coverage for the Subscriber and Dependents other than the adopted child must be made within 60 days of the adoption or placement for adoption. 4) Eligibility for premium assistance from Medicaid or a state Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), provided such person is otherwise eligible for coverage under this EOC. The request for special enrollment must be made within 60 days of eligibility for such premium assistance. 5) Coverage under a Medicaid or CHIP plan is terminated as a result of loss of eligibility for such coverage. Application for coverage must be made within 60 days of the date of termination under Medicaid or CHIP. 6) Applicable federal or state law or regulation otherwise provides for special enrollment.

  • Educational Benefits The Employer agrees to provide educational benefits to employees that are in permanent status as of the first day of the quarter they are registering in accordance with the Employer’s space-available tuition waiver policy and employee 50% operating fee tuition waiver policy, to include:

  • Spouse The spouse of an eligible employee (if legally married under Minnesota law). For the purposes of health insurance coverage, if that spouse works full-time for an organization employing more than one hundred (100) people and elects to receive either credits or cash (1) in place of health insurance or health coverage or (2) in addition to a health plan with a seven hundred and fifty dollar ($750) or greater deductible through his/her employing organization, he/she is not eligible to be a covered dependent for the purposes of this Article. If both spouses work for the State or another organization participating in the State's Group Insurance Program, neither spouse may be covered as a dependent by the other, unless one spouse is not eligible for a full Employer Contribution as defined in Section 3A. Effective January 1, 2015 if both spouses work for the State or another organization participating in the State’s Group Insurance Program, a spouse may be covered as a dependent by the other.
