Uniforms Supplied. Where any employee is required to wear any kind of uniform or coveralls as a condition of continued employment, such uniform or coveralls shall be furnished and maintained by the Company at no cost to the employee. No employee shall be disciplined or discharged for refusing to wear a uniform or coveralls that are not clean or do not fit properly or that do not bear a Union Label. However, the employee must furnish at his own expense suitable clothing, shoes, gloves and winter weather protective clothing in order to perform his job efficiently and safely except as provided in Section 3 (a), (b), (c) and (d) herein.

Fire retardant coveralls will be supplied if the Company so requires. Uniforms Supplied. (a) All employees are required to. wear a uniform during the course of employment, and they will wear same, keeping it clean and in good repair. The Company shall provide each employee with a uniform allowance once every twelve (1 2) months of $275 for clothing, for clothing ordered with the Company or one of its designated suppliers.

50.01 Where any employee is required to wear any kind of uniform as a condition of continued employment, such uniforms will be furnished by the Board and in the case of slacks, jackets, skirts and coveralls will be maintained by the Board at no cost to the employee.
50.02 Employees will not be required to accept any replacement of present uniforms unless such replacements bear a union label or are accompanied by other evidence as being union made.
50.03 Cleaning staff are permitted to wear personal clothing in place of Board supplied and maintained uniforms provided such clothing complies with all of the Board’s safety and appearance standards. Such clothing is not subject to replacement or repair under Article 49.
50.04 Cleaning staff who choose to wear personal clothing in lieu of Board supplied and maintained uniforms in accordance with Clause 50.03, above, will display Board-supplied identification tags on their person at all times.

Further, adequate warm clothing shall be provided by the Company for employees required to work in the stock room or who pick up carts and remove Garbage from the store. The above shall not apply to the normal dress code requirements. Regular hourly paid employees shall be notified before quitting time on the last shift of their work week if they will not be required to work their next regular work day. Should any employee, so notified, be called to work on the day following notification, his starting shall be the same as his starting time on the day previous and he shall be paid therefrom.

The employee will have a choice of various combinations up to the maximum allowance of two hundred and dollars ($275.00) per year.

The Company shall provide each Owner-Operator/Driver with a uniform allowance once every twelve (12) months of $275 for clothing, for clothing ordered with the Company or one of its designated suppliers.
