Union Offices. Where the Union is currently provided with office space, such space shall be maintained. In locations where the Union does not have office space, Union representatives shall be permitted to have a lockable, Union - provided filing cabinet in space provided by the Employer at the Employer's premises.
Union Offices. Where the Union currently has designated offices in any facilities or institutions, such practice will continue during the term of this Agreement. No new or additional union offices will be provided to the Union at any other state facilities. At those facilities at which the Union does not currently have an office, the Employer will provide space for a lockable filing cabinet for the use of the Union. When available, the Union shall have access to a private area to process grievances.
Union Offices. The Company will maintain and update, as necessary, current Union offices in the plant including furnishings and equipment appropriate and consistent with the representative provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. In the event more committee representatives are added, the Company will make all accommodations as necessary. Any proposed changes will be mutually agreed to.

Union Offices a. The Employer agrees to maintain the status quo regarding any offices that the Union has been provided including any furniture and equipment. For those Service Unit/Headquarters locations that a union office does not exist, the Employer agrees to provide reasonable office space for a Union office. The type and location of the office space are subject to local bargaining. Minimum Union requirements for adequate workspace include but are not limited to; at least one desk and table, a working telephone, facsimile, at least two chairs, locking file cabinet; and, at least one computer and printer that is compatible with current IHS systems and has access to the IHS intranet and internet.
b. The Union office space, including equipment, shall be for the sole use of the Union, and will be private and secure to ensure confidentiality of records and conversations.
c. The Union may designate specific individuals to staff the Union office on a regular basis and will provide a schedule of such staffing to the local management upon request. Official time will be in accordance with the official time section of Article 2 of this Agreement. Union representatives shall have access to Union offices during the same times the facility is open to staff.
d. All such usage stated above shall be without charge to the Union and will be in accordance with the Employer’s regulatory requirements and the Union’s representational purposes as prescribed by law. This section will be implemented within 60 days following the signing of this agreement.
Union Offices. Up to two (2) bargaining unit RNs who hold statewide or national Union office shall be entitled to up to twelve (12) scheduled work days release time per year from scheduled work to fulfill their Union responsibilities. The Hospital must receive written notification of the individual bargaining unit nurses who are elected or appointed to such statewide or national union office within thirty (30) calendar days of such appointment or election. In order to qualify for such release time, the nurse must provide the Hospital with a minimum of thirty (30) calendar days’ notice of the request for such release time. In the event another nurse in the bargaining unit has previously arranged to be off work for the same period of time pursuant to the Hospital’s normal policies, the nurse elected to statewide or national office and such nurse shall confer to determine which nurse shall be entitled to the time off if the Hospital cannot grant the request of both employees to be off at the same time. Once advance notice is granted for such requested release, such release time shall be subject to the same requirements for rescission by the Hospital that currently exists for rescission of granted but untaken paid time off. The nurses elected or appointed to statewide or national office shall provide the Hospital with a list of anticipated meeting dates for the current calendar year by January 31st of such year. It is understood that some meeting dates may be tentative in nature and that others may be added at a later date. The nurses shall promptly inform the Hospital, in writing, of any revised or added meeting dates.
Union Offices. The Company agrees that the current union offices shall be available to Local #862 for its use for the term of the collective agreement. Yours truly, X.X.
