Unscheduled Weekend Incentive. Any CNA employee agreeing to work more than one or two unscheduled weekend shifts (day shift Saturday through night shift Sunday) at request of facility will receive a one dollar twenty-five cents ($1.25) per hour premium for each of those additional hours worked. Any employee volunteering or assigned to work a spilt weekend will receive one dollar twenty-five cents ($1.25) per hour premium pay and call pay (Article 28). At the employee’s option, he/she may or may not take another scheduled day off in the pay period. On a quarterly basis, (first pay day of the quarter, January, April, July, October) the employee will declare his/her preference. Premium time will not modify an employee’s schedule that has worked a split weekend for the purpose of alleviating the payment of overtime for said split weekend. All other employees will receive fifty ($.50) per hour. A sign-up sheet will be posted with each new schedule providing opportunity for employees to request consideration for the premium weekend shifts. Premium shifts will first be offered on a seniority basis to those employees from the list before approaching the staff at large provided that management reserves the right to avoid unnecessary overtime. Switching of scheduled weekends to capture weekend premium payment is expressly prohibited. The premium payment is a straight time bonus only and will not contribute to benefit accumulation, average hours worked or toward overtime. The employee must work her/his normal scheduled weekend before and after the unscheduled weekend. Weekend incentives will only be paid for changes within five days prior to the shift worked, per Article 10.8.

  • Sick Leave Payout No cash payment for unused sick leave will be paid to any employee leaving the service of the Employer.

  • Sick Leave Incentive Effective September 1, 1986, employees covered by this Agreement, hired on or after October 1, 1977, who are not entitled to disability leave under State Statute R.C.W. 41.26, shall be eligible for the following sick leave incentive program:

  • Scheduled Downtime For the purposes of this Agreement, Scheduled Downtime will mean those hours, as determined by us but which will not occur between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM Pacific Time, Monday through Friday without your authorization or unless exigent circumstances exist, during which time we will perform scheduled maintenance or adjustments to the Environment. We will use our best efforts to provide you with at least twenty-four (24) hours of notice prior to scheduling Scheduled Downtime.

  • Overtime-Eligible Employees Unpaid Meal Periods The Employer and the Union agree to unpaid meal periods that vary from and supersede the unpaid meal period requirements required by WAC 000-000-000. Unpaid meal periods for employees working more than five (5) consecutive hours, if entitled, will be a minimum of thirty (30) minutes and will be scheduled as close to the middle of the work shift as possible, taking into account the Employer’s work requirements and the employee’s wishes. Employees working three (3) or more hours longer than a normal workday will be allowed an additional thirty (30) minute unpaid meal period. When an employee’s unpaid meal period is interrupted by work duties, the employee will be allowed to resume their unpaid meal period following the interruption, if possible, to complete the unpaid meal period. In the event an employee is unable to complete the unpaid meal period due to operational necessity, the employee will be entitled to compensation, which will be computed based on the actual number of minutes worked within the unpaid meal period. Meal periods may not be used for late arrival or early departure from work and meal and rest periods will not be combined.

  • Sick Leave Incentive Program MSUAASF and Minnesota State may develop a sick leave incentive program through the establishment of a joint committee.

  • Sick Leave Payment Any employee, at his/her option may choose to receive payment for sick leave earned during the year which is unused at the end of the year. Any such payment must be for the total number of unused sick leave hours earned during the year, must be based on the hourly rate of pay of the employee multiplied by 50 percent, and all hours for which payment is received must be deducted from the employee’s accumulated leave balance. Sick leave used during a current year will be charged against the most recently earned sick leave. Hourly rate of pay is the hourly rate at the end of the contract year.
