Vacation and Holiday Plan. Each Individual Employer covered by this Agreement shall contribute to the Northern California Carpenters Vacation and Holiday Trust Fund of California the amount listed in Section IV per hour for each hour paid for or worked, whichever is greater, by each employee covered by this Agreement for the purpose of providing Vacation and Holiday benefits for such employees. Such contributing Individual Employer agrees to be bound by that certain Trust Agreement establishing the Fund dated May 1, 1972, as such may from time to time be amended or supplemented. The Union and the Employer agree that this plan is and has been a Defined Contribution Plan. There shall be no duplicating contributions with respect to any employee or the work of any employee. Employer contributions for a xxxxxxx, assistant superintendent and superintendent covered by this Agreement shall be based upon the hourly rate in effect for journeymen in the particular jurisdiction where they are employed. The total number of hours worked by each employee in each work month, for which contributions are made to this Trust Fund, shall be reported by the Individual Employer to this Trust Fund.

Vacation and Holiday Plan. Section 1. For Employers electing to participate, the Employer shall pay as Vacation and holiday Allowance ten percent (10%) of the gross hourly wages.

  • Vacation and Holidays Executive will receive four weeks of paid vacation each year in addition to all holidays observed by the Company and its subsidiaries. Executive may carry over, in the aggregate, up to four weeks of unused vacation to a subsequent year. Any unused vacation time in excess of four weeks will not accumulate or carry over from one calendar year to the next. Each calendar year, Executive shall take not less than one (1) week vacation.

  • Vacations and Holidays The Executive will be entitled to three (3) weeks' paid vacation each calendar year in accordance with the vacation policies of the Employer in effect for its executive officers from time to time. The Executive will also be entitled to the paid holidays and other paid leave set forth in the Employer's policies. Vacation days during any calendar year that are not used by the Executive during such calendar year may be used in any subsequent calendar year; provided, however, that no more than six weeks' paid vacation may be accrued or carried forward.

  • HOLIDAYS AND HOLIDAY PAY 117. A holiday is calculated based on an eight (8) hour day. The following days are designated as holidays:

  • Vacation and Sick Leave At such reasonable times as the Board of Directors shall in its discretion permit, the Employee shall be entitled, without loss of pay, to absent himself voluntarily from the performance of his employment under this Agreement, with all such voluntary absences to count as vacation time; provided that:

  • OVERTIME AND HOLIDAY PAY 5.3.1 All hours worked by an employee in excess of eight (8) hours per shift and in excess of forty (40) straight time hours per week shall be paid for at the rate of one and one-half times the straight time rate. All hours worked by an employee in excess of ten (10) hours per shift and all hours worked on Sunday shall be paid at the rate of double the straight time rate.

  • Vacation/Holidays The Executive shall be entitled to all public holidays observed by the Company and vacation days in accordance with the applicable vacation policies for senior executives of the Company, which shall be taken at a reasonable time or times.

  • OVERTIME AND HOLIDAYS 5.1 An Employer may require employees to perform work in excess of their regularly assigned hours. All time worked by an employee before and after his regular shift on Monday to Friday inclusive, except as provided in Article 4 and all hours worked on Saturday and Sunday shall be paid for at the rate of double time. Double time shall continue for all hours worked until the employee has had eight (8) consecutive hours off or longer if mutually agreed to by the employer and the employee.

  • Weekend Holidays 9.3.1. A full-time employee who works a Monday through Friday schedule and the calendar holiday falls on a Saturday, the employee shall be allowed the preceding day off. When a holiday falls on a Sunday, the employee shall be allowed the following day off. If the employee works the day preceding or following such a holiday, he/she shall be given another workday off with pay or shall receive payment for that day at the regular rate.

  • Vacation and Sick Leave Administration (a) for the purposes of administration of clauses 34.11 and 34.12, where an employee does not work the same number of hours each week, the normal workweek shall be the weekly average calculated on a monthly basis.
