Vacation Donation for Negotiations. Employees will be able to donate vacation hours to a vacation donation pool for use by the Union’s negotiating team during negotiations as follows: a. All members of the Union’s bargaining unit may donate earned vacation/annual leave hours to a common pool, out of which members of the Union’s negotiating team will be able to draw at their regular rate of pay to make up for wages lost through participation in bargaining sessions. Hours paid from the vacation pool will be paid as vacation time and will accrue benefits for the recipients. b. Management will collect the donated vacation hours into the pool, and disburse them as additional hours to the normal paychecks received by negotiating team members. This process will be separate from the timecard-payroll online system, and will rely on electronic Excel spreadsheets; no cost center will be needed for the purpose. After each payout from the pool, HR will provide to the Union an accounting of the hours disbursed and the hours remaining in the pool, including the balance remaining of each donor’s pledged hours. c. Only those donated hours authorized by the Union for payouts will be deducted from donors’ vacation banks. At the end of the bargaining process, any vacation hours pledged by a donor which are not paid out to cover lost wages will remain in that donor’s vacation bank. d. The Union will be responsible for providing management the following: (i) A signed authorization from all RN donors, modeled on the Swedish/Xxxxxxx Vacation/Annual Leave Donation form language, with the additional clarification that the donor is entering an agreement with the Union and also authorizing Swedish/Xxxxxxx to debit the donated hours from the RN’s vacation bank. The authorizing language on the Union’s petition reads as follows: By signing this petition, I agree with our union SEIU Healthcare 1199NW to donate no less than four*(4) vacation hours to help our employee negotiators with missed shifts as a result of negotiations and I authorize Swedish/Xxxxxxx to deduct these hours from my vacation bank. *Hours not needed by employee negotiators will not be charged. Donors’ names will be both printed and signed. A copy of the authorizing signatures will be provided to the Swedish/Xxxxxxx on numbered signature pages and numbered lines for ease of verification.   • Termination for Non-Appropriation The continuation of this Contract beyond the current fiscal year is subject to and contingent upon sufficient funds being appropriated, budgeted, and otherwise made available by the City. The City may terminate this Contract, and Contractor waives any and all claim(s) for damages, effective immediately upon receipt of written notice (or any date specified therein) if for any reason the City’s funding from State and/or federal sources is not appropriated or is withdrawn, limited, or impaired.

  • Leave for Negotiations Members of the MSEA-SEIU bargaining team (whose numbers shall not exceed three (3) for each unit plus the President and/or Vice President of MSEA-SEIU) shall suffer no loss in pay or benefits for participation in negotiations for a successor Agreement. Additionally, leave may be requested for other members necessary for participation on specific negotiations issues and such leave shall not be unreasonably denied. MSEA-SEIU shall give reasonable notice to the Office of Employee Relations of the names of those bargaining team members who will be attending particular bargaining sessions. MSEA-SEIU recognizes that exceptional circumstances might preclude the release of an individual on a particular day. The Office of Employee Relations will notify affected agencies of those individuals designated or otherwise requested to be made available on particular dates for participation in negotiations and will inform those agencies of the day, or days, when negotiations will take place. No additional compensation shall be paid if negotiations extend beyond the end of an employee's normal work hours. However, a good faith effort shall be made to schedule non-standard workweek employees so that their days off shall not fall on days of negotiations. Any designated employee who has a State vehicle assigned shall be allowed to use the vehicle while traveling to and from negotiations. Such employee shall be considered to be in duty status and shall have their uniform available for necessary use.

  • Release Time for Negotiations CSEA shall have the right to designate a maximum of six (6) employees, who shall be given reasonable release time to participate in negotiations.

  • Petition for Annual Conference Session The Local Church acknowledges that pursuant to the governing standing rules of the Annual Conference, petitions for consideration of the legislative body must be submitted to the Secretary of the Annual Conference on or before April 1 of the current Annual Conference year. The Annual Conference will make reasonable efforts to assist the Local Church in completing the required petition, which will include this Disaffiliation Agreement as an attachment thereto making it subject to public review. If the petition is not filed in a timely manner, the Parties will make good faith efforts under the standing rules of the Annual Conference to cooperate to bring the petition to the legislative floor for consideration by appropriate motions to suspend the standing rules for the purposes of considering the petition.

  • Effective Date of Benefit Termination Medical, dental and life coverage termination will take effect on the first of the month following the loss of eligible employee or dependent status. Disability benefit coverage terminations will take effect on the day following loss of eligible employee status.

  • Compensation for Consulting Services For each quarter (i.e., three-month period) that Executive provides consulting services to MediciNova pursuant to the option of MediciNova contained in Section 9 above, MediciNova shall pay Executive a sum equal to fifteen percent (15%) of Executive’s annual Base Compensation which shall be applicable at the time of Executive’s termination of employment with MediciNova (prorated for any period of less than a quarter). The parties expressly agree that when Executive is performing consulting services for MediciNova, Executive is acting as an independent contractor. Therefore, Executive shall be solely liable for Social Security and income taxes that result from Executive’s compensation as a consultant. In addition, Executive shall not be entitled to any other benefits including, without limitation, such group medical, life and disability insurance and other benefits as may be provided to employees and/or executives of MediciNova.

  • Reporting Total Compensation of Recipient Executives 1. Applicability and what to report. You must report total compensation for each of your five most highly compensated executives for the preceding completed fiscal year, if— i. the total Federal funding authorized to date under this award is $25,000 or more; ii. in the preceding fiscal year, you received— (a) 80 percent or more of your annual gross revenues from Federal procurement contracts (and subcontracts) and Federal financial assistance subject to the Transparency Act, as defined at 2 CFR 170.320 (and subawards); and (b) $25,000,000 or more in annual gross revenues from Federal procurement contracts (and subcontracts) and Federal financial assistance subject to the Transparency Act, as defined at 2 CFR 170.320 (and subawards); and iii.   • Promotion of Agreement It is agreed that Vendor will encourage all eligible entities to purchase from the TIPS Program. Encouraging entities to purchase directly from the Vendor and not through TIPS Agreement is a violation of the terms and conditions of this Agreement and will result in removal of the Vendor from the TIPS Program.

  • Developer Compensation for Emergency Services If, during an Emergency State, the Developer provides services at the request or direction of the NYISO or Connecting Transmission Owner, the Developer will be compensated for such services in accordance with the NYISO Services Tariff.
