Wage freeze. At the pre-bid meeting the Contractor and Union may agree, in writing, that the hourly wage rates and fringe benefits in effect on the bid date will prevail for an agreed upon period of time from the date of the Contract Award. In any event, on all construction work performed under this Agreement, on construction projects not to exceed Five Million Dollars ($5,000,000.00), the hourly wage rates and fringe benefits in effect on the bid date shall prevail for a period of two (2) years from the date of the Notice to Proceed and thereafter at the current wage level.

Wage freeze. Notwithstanding any other provision of this agreement, it is agreed and understood that on all construction work performed under this Agreement the Employer shall be required to pay no more than the hourly wage rates and fringe benefits, as prevailed by the State of West Virginia which are in effect on the bid opening date, for the duration of the project.
Wage freeze. V. In 2011-2012 the AAEA agrees to the following concessions: A. All step and lane changes will be honored. Progress from one step to the next step will be delayed by 135 days (3/4 of the year). B. The adjustments to pay caused by the above delay will be made prior to the first pay in September and spread evenly over all pay checks. VI. Appendix VSupplemental pay A. For 2010-2011 all Appendix V pay amounts will be reduced by 5% of their 2009-2010 dollar amounts (approximately $90,000). B. Both sides will submit recommendations to Problem Solving prior to January 15, 2011, with the goal of reducing district costs of Appendix V by $265,000. VII. Layoffs A. There will be no layoffs of AAEA members employed in 2009-2010. B. There will be no layoffs of AAEA members employed in 2010-2011. C. Any layoff in 2011-2012 will be mitigated by the maintenance of at least 10 district substitute positions. Members assigned to these positions would have full contractual rights and responsibilities but no permanent classroom assignment. They would be assigned to the first available position for which they are certified and qualified making the sub position available for another laid off member.

Wage freeze. All wage rates and salaries currently in effect will be frozen at their current levels. The Cost of Living Adjustments (“COLAs”) and step increases set forth in the CBA shall be delayed until June 30, 2021, at which time they shall be restored.

  • Wage Scales All workers covered by this Agreement shall be classified and paid in accordance with the classification and wage scales as attached as Appendices "A" and forming part of this Agreement.

  • Wage Scale The wages shown in Appendix A will be part of this Agreement.

  • BEREAVEMENT/TANGIHANGA LEAVE 18.1 The employer shall approve special bereavement leave on pay for an employee to discharge any obligation and/or to pay respects to a deceased person with whom the employee has had a close association. Such obligations may exist because of blood or family ties or because of particular cultural requirements such as attendance at all or part of a tangihanga (or its equivalent). The length of time off shall be at the discretion of the employer. 18.2 If a bereavement occurs while an employee is absent on annual leave, sick leave on pay, or other special leave on pay, such leave may be interrupted and bereavement leave granted in terms of 18.1 above. This provision will not apply if the employee is on leave without pay. 18.3 In granting time off and for how long, the employer must administer these provisions in a culturally sensitive manner.

  • Safety Footwear 1. The State will provide employees in the positions listed in Section 3 below, and employees who are currently required to wear safety footwear by Department Work Rules, an allowance of one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) for replacement of safety footwear. This allowance will be paid to employees on a semiannual basis, with half paid in January and half paid in July to eligible employees on the payroll at the time of the payments. Employees of Departments with work rules that provide such safety footwear will not be eligible for the safety footwear allowance. 2. Safety footwear purchased must meet ANSI standards where applicable. Requirements for the wearing of safety footwear will be in accordance with work rules published by the State. 3. Positions required to wear safety footwear:

  • LIVING WAGE An Authorized User subject to a local law establishing a “living wage”, such as Section 6-109 of the New York City Administrative Code, is required to ensure the Contractor sought to be hired complies with such local law. If the pay rate(s) for a job title(s) as set forth in Appendix E – Pricing Pages, are less than the local law “living wage” than Authorized User subject to such local law cannot use this Contract for such job title(s). Local laws, however, are not a term and condition of the OGS Contract. Work being done under a resulting Authorized User Agreement may be subject to the prevailing wage rate provisions of the New York State Labor Law. Such work will be identified by the Authorized User within the RFQ. See “Prevailing Wage Rates – Public Works and Building Services Contracts’ in Appendix B, Clause 10, OGS General Specifications. Any federal or State determination of a violation of any public works law or regulation, or labor law or regulation, or any OSHA violation deemed "serious or willful" may be grounds for a determination of vendor non-responsibility and rejection of proposal. The Prevailing Wage Case Number for this Contract is PRC# 2014011745. The Prevailing Wage Rates for various occupations and General Provisions of Laws Covering Workers on Article 8 Public Work Contract can be accessed at the following NYS Department of Labor website: xxxx://xxx.xxxxx.xxxxx.xx.xx/wpp/xxxxXxxxXxxxxxx.xx?method=showIt  Insert PRC# 2014011745 in the box provided and click Submit.  Click Wage Schedule located underneath the main header of this page. The PDF file may be searched to obtain the Prevailing Wage Rate for a specific occupation. In the event a replacement Contract has not been issued, any Contract let and awarded hereunder by the State, may be extended unilaterally by the State for an additional period of up to three (3) months upon notice to the Contractor with the same terms and conditions as the original Contract including, but not limited to, prices and delivery requirements. With the concurrence of the Contractor, the extension may be for a period of up to six (6) months in lieu of three (3) months. However, this extension terminates should the replacement Contract be issued in the interim. Authorized Users should refer to Attachment 1 – How to Use the Manufacturer Umbrella Contract for specific instructions on the usage of this Contract. OGS reserves the right to unilaterally make revisions, changes and/or updates to Attachment 1 – How to Use the Manufacturer Umbrella Contract without processing a formal amendment and/or modification. During the term of the Contract, the Authorized User may request Product specifications for particular items that have been included by the Contractor in Appendix E – Pricing Pages. These specifications will be provided by the Contractor at no cost.

  • Lunch Breaks The lunch break will consist of a one-half hour (or one hour where scheduled) unpaid break taken mid-way during regular work day. In the event that an employee is required to work during his regular lunch period he shall be allowed a one-half hour lunch period between the hours of ll:30 a.m. and l:00 p.m., otherwise he shall be paid double time for working through said lunch period.

  • Living Away From Home Allowance When Employees are to be engaged on a Project requiring them to live away from home, the provisions of Appendix I will apply in determining their entitlement and the conditions whilst they are living away from home.

  • Transportation Allowance When an employee is required to travel to the Hospital or to return to her home as a result of reporting to or off work between the hours of hours, (other than reporting to or off work for her regular shift) or at any time while on standby, the Hospital will pay transportation costs either by taxi or by her own vehicle at the rate of thirty-five cents ($0.35) per mile (to a maximum of fourteen dollars ($14.00)) or such greater amount as the Hospital may in its discretion determine for each trip between the aforementioned hours. The employee will provide to the Hospital satisfactory proof of payment of such taxi fare.

  • Water Service The Purchase Price for the Property shall include all water rights/water shares, if any, that are the legal source for Seller’s current culinary water service and irrigation water service, if any, to the Property. The water rights/water shares will be conveyed or otherwise transferred to Buyer at Closing by applicable deed or legal instruments. The following water rights/water shares, if applicable, are specifically excluded from this sale:
