Wage Rates and Fringe Benefits. The Employer hereby agrees to employ journeymen plumbers at the Union prevailing wage rates and pay the fringe benefit contributions set forth or to be determined in the manner set forth in Appendix C to this Agreement. The rates and contributions set forth therein shall be deemed the standard rates to be strictly adhered to as of the effective dates shown.
Wage Rates and Fringe Benefits. 8.1 The Employer recognizes the applicable Prevailing Wage Rates in effect at the time of bid. The minimum wage scale for the duration of the work will be fixed at the then current and applicable Prevailing Wage Rate as determined by OAR 839-025-0020(6).
8.2 In the event of nonpayment of wages despite the Unions reasonable attempts to collect from the Employer, the Union will not be considered in violation of Article 5 should a work stoppage occur.
8.3 The Employer will be furnished appropriate trust documents by the Union covering funds into which contributions shall be made. The Employers will contribute to, and hereby become party to and is bound by bona fide pension, vacation, health and welfare, apprenticeship and training funds covering employees under this Agreement, Industry Advancement or Promotion Funds called for in the Area Master Collective Bargaining Agreements may be paid at the discretion of the Employer.
8.4 The Employers agree that all wages shall be subject to deduction for collection of Union dues, regardless of whether an employee is a member of a union, except for DBE Core Employees and exempt parties as defined in Article 2. The Union will not require initiation fees from a non-union Employer's Core Employees. Such deductions from the wages of non-union employees shall not be more than the amount necessary to cover the union's costs of collective bargaining, contract administration, and grievance adjustment. The Employers shall be required to pay contributions to Union employee benefit funds for non-union "core" employees only if the employee benefits immediately accrue to the direct benefit of such employees and do not require membership in the Union. Core Employees who do not participate in a specific Union benefit fund must have the benefit amount paid into a similar benefit fund that provides immediate benefit to the employee (see Section 8.5 Core Employee Benefit Program). Employers shall provide information to Project Contractor regarding wages and dues, and must submit weekly certified payrolls to Project Contractor and Owner.

Wage Rates and Fringe Benefits. (A) Definitions – Journeyman Xxxxxxxxx I as referred to herein shall mean a xxxxxxxxx possessing the necessary skills and/or qualifications required by the Employer of a Journeyman Xxxxxxxxx employed under the terms of this Agreement.

Wage Rates and Fringe Benefits. 26.1.1 Wage Rates and Fringe Benefits Rates are determined by the published Prevailing Wage Schedule that is set by the Office of Human Resources for the Custodian Classification. Wage Rates and Fringe Benefits. A. The Classification of employment and minimum wage and fringe benefits shall be in accor- dance with the project wage addendum attached hereto and made a part of this Agreement and for the period indicated therein. Wage rates become effective the first full payroll period follow- ing the effective date. Wages shall be paid weekly on an established pay day before quitting time. Employees being discharged shall be paid at the time of dismissal. Employees who quit shall be paid on the next regular pay day by mail to their last known address unless such employees give adequate notice to do otherwise.
B. The work week for payroll purposes will begin with the first or day shift on Monday morn- ing and end on the following Monday morning (the work week for any particular project may be modified by mutual consent). Employees shall be paid on Friday before quitting time for all work performed during the preceding work week. Any employee desiring to leave the job before the end of the work day on Friday without prior approval will wait until the next work day to be paid. In the event of nonpayment of wages, the Union may take any appropriate action it deems neces- sary and the Union will not be considered in violation of Article 3 Section 3.5 should a work stop- page occur.
C. The Employer will be furnished appropriate trust documents by the Union covering funds into which contributions shall be made. D. If payment for contributions as defined above are not received by the fund offices by the date prescribed by the appropriate trust funds for hours worked the previous month, the Health and Welfare Fund office or Pension Fund office will notify the Employer of such delinquency. If after five (5) working days from such notice, all delinquencies have not been paid in full, it is agreed that the Union may take any appropriate action it deems necessary in order to collect such delinquent contributions, and the Union will not be considered in violation of Article 3 Section 3.5 of this Agreement should a work stoppage occur. Wage Rates and Fringe Benefits. All laborers and mechanics employed or working upon the site of the work (or otherwise working in construction or development of the project under a development statute), will be paid unconditionally and not less often than once a week, and without subsequent deduction or rebate on any account (except such payroll deductions as are permitted by regulations issued by the Secretary of Labor under the Xxxxxxxx Act ( 29 CFR part 3)), the full amount of basic hourly wages and bona fide fringe benefits (or cash equivalents thereof) due at time of payment computed at rates not less than those contained in the wage determination of the Secretary of Labor which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, regardless of any contractual relationship which may be alleged to exist between the contractor and such laborers and mechanics. As provided in paragraphs (d) and (e) of this section, the appropriate wage determinations are effective by operation of law even if they have not been attached to the contract. Contributions made or costs reasonably anticipated for bona fide fringe benefits under the Xxxxx-Xxxxx Act (40 U.S.C. 3141(2)(B)) on behalf of laborers or mechanics are considered wages paid to such laborers or mechanics, subject to the provisions of paragraph (a)(1)(v) of this section; also, regular contributions made or costs incurred for more than a weekly period (but not less often than quarterly) under plans, funds, or programs which cover the particular weekly period, are deemed to be constructively made or incurred during such weekly period. Such laborers and mechanics must be paid the appropriate wage rate and fringe benefits on the wage determination for the classification(s) of work actually performed, without regard to skill, except as provided in paragraph (a)(4) of this section. Laborers or mechanics performing work in more than one classification may be compensated at the rate specified for each classification for the time actually worked therein: Provided, That the employer's payroll records accurately set forth the time spent in each classification in which work is performed.
