Walkway. Specifics related to the plan must be inserted and referenced in the engineering design drawings, including cross-sections, as applicable.
Walkway. All walkways shown on the plan of subdivision shall be constructed by the Developer. Walkways shall be constructed of a 150 mm minimum depth of Granular “A” on a properly constructed foundation and shall be paved with a concrete sidewalk to a minimum width of 1.5 metres and a minimum depth of 125 mm. A standard 1.5 m high chain link fence shall be placed along both sides of the right-of- way with posts placed at each end to prevent vehicular traffic from using the walkway.
Walkway. Walkways on bridges, over highways or other locations where spillage of ballast or lading is possible shall be constructed of solid material and a curb or toe board shall be provided. In accordance with Section 6.6.1, the clear distance from centerline of track to the ballast retainer for bridges without a walkway shall be a minimum of 8’-0”. To prevent cracking under live loads, provide 1/4 inch wide control joints at less than 10 foot spacing on concrete curbs, walkways and ballast retainers. Ballast section may be used as walkway, at the discretion of the Railroad, provided the permanent horizontal clearances are in accordance with Section 6.6.2. If a solid walkway surface is required, it shall be a minimum of 2’-6” wide and be provided on both sides of the structure.
Walkway. The Subdivider shall construct and install to the satisfaction of the Municipality a concrete walkway with a minimum width of 6 metres (19.69 feet) along the length of Block 58 as shown on the Phase II Plan. The Subdivider shall install a wood board privacy fence 1.8 metres (6 feet) in height along the boundaries of the above-noted walkways to the satisfaction Municipal Engineer and in accordance with the Municipality’s Infrastructure Design Standards. The Subdivider shall also install two pairs of bollards to control access, with one pair located at the westerly limit of Block 58 as shown on the Phase II Plan and with the other pair located at the easterly limit of Block 58 as shown on the Phase II Plan, all to the satisfaction of the Municipal Engineer.
Walkway. The Parties acknowledge that a portion of the Walkway (between the Deck and the Patio) has been removed, but the remaining portion of the Walkway is within seventy- five (75) feet of the top of the bank of an unstable bluff and does not meet current setback requirements under the SZO. The Parties further acknowledge that the Town has no record of a permit being issued for the installation of the Walkway, nor does the Town or the Landowner have any record of when the Walkway was originally installed. Given the age of the other structures on the Property, it is possible that the Walkway is a legally nonconforming condition, and in light of this uncertainty, the Town will not require removal of the Walkway, provided that certain conditions are met as provided in Paragraph 8 below.
Walkway. The City's Designee and the Company shall cooperate in approving the final design and location of the Walkway prior to construction of the Walkway. If the mutually approved location of the Walkway causes a change in the configuration of the Site as specified in Exhibit A, then this Agreement will be amended to reflect the revised configuration.
