Waterproofing. All Household Effects and Unaccompanied Air Baggage shall be protected from water damage resulting from rain, humidity or dampness, with the following constituting minimum acceptable protective efforts:
(a) Wooden crates or lift vans shall be lined with waterproof paper.
(b) If open vehicles are used to transport a shipment, a weatherproof tarpaulin large enough to fully cover the cargo shall be used.
Waterproofing. NOTE: Unless otherwise stated herein, all items in this xxxx shall be deemed to fall into Work Group No. 120 for CPAP formula purposes.
Waterproofing. XXXXXX shall have absolutely no liability or responsibility as to any waterproofing, leaks, water damage or drainage issues. Any damage due by water proofers, roofers, green wall manufacturer or any other reason other than XXXXXX’x direct fault will be billable to CLIENT.
Waterproofing. The Board shall require Concessionaire to install, keep and maintain and repair all pipes or lines for water, drainage or sewer for or related to the Assigned Premises (”Plumbing Lines”) such that they are sealed or protected against leakage or discharge of odors in conformance with the Board’s requirements whether or not such requirements exceed the minimum requirements of the applicable building codes. In the event that such Plumbing Lines leak, Concessionaire shall at its sole cost and expense and within three (3) calendar days of receipt of notice from the Board (which notice may be by telephone) repair such Plumbing Lines. Any such repair shall be in strict conformance to the Manual of Airport and Tenant Work. Concessionaire shall promptly reimburse the Board or other tenant for any physical damage to any thing, improvement or property resulting from such leakage. Upon the third occasion of any leak from such Plumbing Lines during the Term hereof, the Board shall be entitled to require Concessionaire, at Concessionaires sole cost and expense, to remove the Plumbing Line and completely seal off in a watertight condition the opening from which such Plumbing Line extended. The Board shall have the right to require Concessionaire to install, maintain and repair waterproof membrane systems under all floors of the Assigned Premises, such that they are sealed or protected against leakage in conformance with the Board’s requirements whether or not such requirements exceed the minimum requirements of the applicable building codes. In the event that such floors leak, Concessionaire shall at its sole cost and expense and within three (3) calendar days of receipt of notice from the Board (which notice may be by telephone) repair such waterproof system, which may require the Concessionaire to remove the floor treatment (tile, carpet, etc.), and reapply a watertight floor treatment which meets the requirements of the Board. Any such repair shall be in strict conformance to the Manual of Airport and Tenant Work. Concessionaire shall reimburse the Board or other tenant for any physical damage to its ceiling tiles or property resulting from such leakage. Upon the third occasion of any leak from the floor during the Term hereof, the Board shall be entitled to revoke Concessionaire’s right and privilege to utilize water in the Assigned Premises.
Waterproofing. 7.1. SABS approved 350 micron DPC to be installed under all external walls. All waterproofing to be installed in accordance with SABS standards.
Waterproofing. If the Premises’ concrete slab is not on grade (compacted soil), Tenant shall install a waterproofing barrier membrane, in accordance with Landlord’s specifications, in all areas that may be exposed to fluids or liquids including, but not limited to, restrooms, food preparation and service areas, shampoo and wash areas, laundry and dry cleaning areas, and photo processing areas.
Waterproofing. No leaks of water into a basement of any residence are acceptable. However, leaks caused by improper landscaping installed by Purchaser, or failure of Purchaser to maintain proper grades are not covered by the Warranty. Dampness of the walls is often common to new construction and is not considered a deficiency. The Builder will take such action as necessary to correct basement leaks except where the cause is determined to result from Purchaser’s negligence.
Waterproofing. Provide fluid applied two-part orethane rubber waterproofing (Gates) with protection board as specified by the manufacturer.
Waterproofing. The Contractor must read each description throughout this bill of quantities in conjunction with and in the context of the obligations, requirements and specifications stated in the descriptions, the Model Preambles for Trades (2008 edition) and the Supplementary Preambles to the Model Preambles forming part of these Bills of Quantities. No claim arising from brevity of description of items fully described in the said Model Preambles for Trades and Supplementary Preambles to the Model Preambles will be granted. Waterproofing of roofs, basements, etc shall be laid under a ten year guarantee. Waterproofing to roofs shall be laid to even falls to outlets etc with necessary ridges, hips and valleys. Descriptions of sheet or membrane waterproofing shall be deemed to include additional labour to turn-ups and turn-downs One layer of 375 micron "Consol Plastics Brikgrip DPC" embossed damp proof course or similar and approved.
Waterproofing. The materials shall conform to the respective I.S. Code ‑ latest revision, where applicable. The Engineer's approval to the materials shall be obtained by the Contractor before procurements. If desired by the Engineer, test certificates for the materials shall be submitted by the Contractor. The materials shall be of best quality available indigenously, fresh and thoroughly clean.
