WORK CLASSIFICATIONS and DEFINITIONS. Hospitality Duties Level 1 Employee who has acquired some knowledge of the Reception Centre’s standards and procedures and are able to demonstrate basic practical skills and knowledge within an operational area and perform routine tasks Assisting employees of higher level not including customer service. Typical duties at this level include: ▪ Clearing and resetting tables; ▪ Assembling and preparing ingredients for cooking; ▪ Dish washing and cleaning of kitchens; ▪ Plating and service of food; ▪ General public area cleaning and maintenance duties; ▪ Collection and delivery of laundry, linen, mail or messages. Hospitality Duties Level 2 Employee, who with knowledge of operating systems, equipment and procedures are multi-skilled to perform a range of job roles and duties at this level and accept responsibility for their own learning and output of work. Employees work under supervision and provide guidance and support to Level 1 employees in skills training. In addition to the duties of Level 1, typical duties at this level include: ▪ Providing basic food and beverage service to guests; ▪ Basic cooking and food preparation including breakfasts, snacks and pastry baking ▪ Receiving / dispensing stock; ▪ Checking guests into and out of the Reception Centre under direction; ▪ Cleaning and servicing of accommodation areas; ▪ Handling guest inquiries and requests; ▪ Performing basic clerical, data entry and routine office duties. Hospitality Duties Level 3 Employee who is competent in performing tasks and skills to an advanced level across a range of disciplines utilising problem solving skills discretion and judgement: The position includes responsibility and accountability for an employee’s work performance and outcome with limited responsibility for the supervision and training of employees of lower levels within their work area. In addition to the duties of Levels 1 and 2, typical duties at this level include: ▪ Delivery and recording, stored goods within the building; ▪ Coordinating functions and controlling a dispense bar; ▪ Assist with the sales and promotion of functions: ▪ Cooking food including baking, pastry cooking or butchering; ▪ Checking guests in to and out of the Reception Centre; ▪ Secretarial/administrative duties requiring computer literacy; ▪ Controlling the quality of the cleaning of accommodation; ▪ General maintenance duties not requiring a trade certificate.

  • Scope and Definitions 1. The provisions of this Chapter shall apply to technical regulations, standards and conformity assessment procedures as defined in the WTO TBT Agreement in so far as they affect trade between the Parties.

Such an employee has completed an AQF IV or V qualification or equivalent of which at least 50% of the competencies are in supervision/training. WAGE GROUP: C14 Engineering/Production Employee - Level I As Engineering/Production Employee - Level I is an employee who is undertaking up to 38 hours induction training which may include information on the enterprise, conditions of employment, introduction to supervisors and fellow workers, training and career path opportunities, plant layout, work and documentation procedures, occupational health and safety, equal employment opportunity and quality control/assurance. An employee at this level performs routine duties essentially of a manual nature and to the level of his/her training:
