Work on a Regular Day Off. When an employee is required to work on all or part of his/her Regular Day Off. In this circumstance, the employee will be paid one and one-half (1 ½) times his/her basic straight-time hourly rate for four (4) hours (2 hours for employees in the Department of Physical Education and Athletics) or the actual time worked, whichever is greater. When the University in its discretion requires an employee from the Department of Physical Education and Athletics to work later on the same regular day off after having already worked and been released earlier in that day, the same employee who worked earlier in the day will receive a minimum of three (3) hours at a time-and-half rate for the second and any subsequent call ins on that same regular day off.

Work on a Regular Day Off. When the Society has work that will occur on a normal day off (i.e. Saturday or Sunday), the work will be offered to qualified employees in order of seniority. If an employee works on a regular day off, they shall be paid at one and one-half times their normal hourly rate for all hours worked up to seven and one-half hours with a minimum of four hours. Employees will be paid at two times their normal hourly rate for all hours worked over seven and one-half hours.

  • Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday An employee who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double-time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double-time and one-half for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday.
