Xxxx Leave Accruals. Sick leave shall be accrued at the rate of 4.615 hours per bi- weekly pay period for a total of one hundred twenty (120) hours per year for full-time employees without limit on accumulation. Sick leave shall not be considered to be a privilege which an employee may use at his discretion, but rather shall be allowed only for the purposes specified below in Section B.

Xxxx Leave Accruals. Regular full-time employees hired on or after July 1, 2017 and who are covered by this MOU are eligible to receive thirty (30) hours of paid sick leave after the new employee has been employed with the City for ninety (90) days. Such paid sick leave may be used for employee or family illness or for medical reasons or other reasons provided under the City’s Paid Sick Leave Policy (AB 1522), adopted by the Mayor and Common Council on June 18, 2015 by Resolution 2015-116 and incorporated into this MOU. After ninety (90) days of employment, a new employee will accrue four (4) hours of sick leave per pay period. At no time may Unit Members accrue more than 1,040 hours of sick leave.
Xxxx Leave Accruals. Employees will elect to transfer 100% of their accrued sick leave into their Bencor Special Pay Plan account either upon entering the DROP program or upon final separation of service from the School Board of Sarasota County, subject to contribution limits. Any excess amount will be paid to the participant, subject to all applicable taxes. For any employee extending their DROP election, 100% of their sick leave will be paid out at the end of 5 years and 100% at the end of each extension.
Xxxx Leave Accruals. Effective January 1, 2018, in accordance with County Code Section 3.40.010, regular full-time employees shall be entitled to three and seven-tenths (3.7) working hours or a proportionately equal number of sick leave pay for each bi-weekly pay period of actual hours paid.

  • Leave Accruals Accumulated annual leave, personal leave, and sick leave balances will automatically be frozen for the duration of the leave of absence. The employee will not accrue leave credits during the leave of absence.

  • Leave Accrual After the first 30 days of active military service in any one calendar year, employees shall not accrue City-paid vacation, holiday, or sick leave benefits or other forms of paid leave; provided, however, that any public employee on military leave for intermittent training periods shall continue to accrue the same vacation, sick, and holiday leave up to a maximum period of 180 cumulative days per calendar year as if the employee had not been on military leave.

  • Annual Leave Accrual If an employee leaves State Classified employment and is later rehired, he/she shall accrue annual leave at the same rate as a new hire. However, once a rehired employee has been in pay status for five (5) years, all previous service time shall be credited for annual leave accrual. The only exception shall be for employees rehired who repay severance pay received.

  • Sick Leave Accrual Full-time employees will accrue eight (8) hours of sick leave in a calendar month. Part- time employees will accrue sick leave credit on the same proportional basis that their employment schedule bears to a full-time schedule, up to a maximum of eight (8) hours in a calendar month.

  • Vacation Leave Accrual ‌ After a full-time employee has been in pay status for eighty (80) non-overtime hours in a calendar month, the employee will accrue vacation leave according to the rate schedule below. Vacation leave accrual for part-time employees will be proportionate to the number of hours the part-time employee is in pay status during the month to that required for full-time employment.
