Xxxxxxxxx Conditions. It is the responsibility of teachers to bring any unsafe or hazardous conditions to the attention of the Building Principal and the Superintendent or his or her designee. The Principal or Superintendent or designees thereof shall investigate alleged unsafe or hazardous conditions. A Hazardous Conditions Committee shall be formed by the Administration with CFT representation and will address issues such as lead, asbestos, mold, pests, radon, etc. The committee shall meet at least quarterly. The duties of the committee will include but are not limited to developing a system to track instances of hazardous occurrences, developing procedures to reduce exposure to hazardous materials, and providing a plan and education about how to identify and respond to hazardous conditions (such as whom to notify, how quickly to respond, and how to follow-up with staff).
