Examination of Site. In undertaking the work under this Contract, the Contractor acknowledges that he has visited the Project Site and has taken into consideration all observed conditions that might affect his work.
Examination of Site. Contractor has visited the applicable site and investigated the conditions on, in, out and about the applicable site, including any buildings, which might affect the progress of the applicable Project and is satisfied as to those conditions. No claim for money or time will be allowed as to such matters.

Bidders must satisfy themselves by personal examination of the location of the proposed work and of the actual conditions and requirements of the work and shall not, at any time after the submission of a proposal, dispute or complain of such estimate or assert that there was any misunderstanding in regard to the depth or character of excavation to be made or the nature of the work to be done.
Examination of Site. Contractor shall conduct site inspections prior to delivering a container to a using agency location. The ultimate placement of the containers shall be designated by the using agency and no extra charge will be assessed. Contractor shall ensure that the container supplied is the right size and type for the need.

The Project Superintendent or his designated representative shall meet with the prospective Bidders at a mandatory pre-bid meeting for the purpose of inspection of the area to be included under this contract. Prior to bid opening, all technical questions are to be submitted in writing to the Procurement Office a minimum of six days prior to the bid opening. Due to the unique requirements of this project, all prospective Bidders are REQUIRED to attend a pre-bid meeting and inspection of the area in which the work under this Contract is intended to be performed. Time and location of the pre-bid meeting are identified in the Invitation to Bid Form. Before submitting a proposal, all bidders shall have carefully examined the plans and specifications, have visited the site of the proposed work, and FULLY informed themselves as to all existing conditions and limitations to be met. Proposal shall include a sum to cover the costs to meet all existing conditions and limitations, as well as cost of items included in these plans and specifications.
Examination of Site. 1.1.1 At the beginning of the Schematic Design phase, Design Professional and its consultants shall visit the Project site to become familiar with existing site conditions, including the site location and size, utility capacities, and connection options of external utilities. Prior to the completion of the Construction Documents, Design Professional and its consultants shall visit the Project site to coordinate their documents with current site conditions. NOTE: ADD THE FOLLOWING PARAGRAPHS FOR ALTERATION PROJECTS IN EXISTING BUILDINGS
1.1.2 For alteration projects, visit all relevant areas of the existing buildings to be altered. Include architectural, mechanical, plumbing and electrical (including fire alarm) disciplines. Visually survey the following for consistency with the available documentation, evidence of chronic problems, and coordination with proposed new work:
.1 Adjacent site perimeter (a minimum of 40 feet from building) for accessible path of travel, fire access, drainage conditions, and distance to adjacent buildings.
.2 Building exterior (from the ground and roof surface).
.3 Interior spaces including storage, circulation, mechanical, electrical and telecom rooms.
.4 Rooftop including penthouses.
.5 Ceiling spaces above suspended lay-in ceiling tiles at several areas representing standard conditions and in areas with atypical ceiling heights or configurations.
.6 Concealed spaces accessible via access panel at several areas representing standard conditions and in areas with atypical concentrations of services, specifically at firewalls.
1.1.3 Notify University’s Representative of rooms or areas inaccessible due to locked doors, hard-suspended ceilings, heavy furniture and equipment or critical functions. No destructive testing shall be done except by specific written approval.
Examination of Site. A site meeting will not be held during the tender period for this Contact. Each Tenderer must examine the location of the work and fully inform themselves of existing conditions by personal examination as to the local conditions to be met with during the construction and conduct of the work. All Contract Documents are to be carefully examined. No plea of ignorance of conditions or difficulties which may be encountered in the execution of the work hereunder by failure to make such inspections or investigations will be accepted as sufficient reason for failure on part of successful Tenderer to fulfill all requirements of the Contract. The Owner has made no arrangements with private owners for site investigations to be carried out by prospective Tenderers. If any person proposes to carry out any investigation on any property relative to the proposed works, he/she shall, before entering the said property, and any other property for the purpose of obtaining access to the said property, and before commencing the said investigation, contact each owner and occupant of the said properties and advise them of the nature and extent of the proposed investigation and obtain an agreement in writing thereto of all such owners and occupants. The person (or firm) who was responsible for carrying out such an investigation or for making use of any access as aforesaid shall reinstate promptly all property which has been disturbed by such investigation or by use of such access and shall be responsible for all damage and claims resulting therefrom in accordance with the said agreement of such owners and occupants. With respect to any matter referred to in the foregoing paragraph, no person referred to therein is authorized to act as agent of or to make any representation on behalf of the Owner and the Owner shall not be responsible for any disturbance to or reinstatement of any property or for any damage or claims referred to therein.
Examination of Site. Bidders are required to visit the site, compare the Drawings and Specifications with any work in place, and inform themselves of all conditions, including other work, if any, being performed. Failure to visit the site in no way relieves the successful bidder from the necessity of furnishing any materials or performing any work that may be required to complete work in accordance with Drawings and Specifications without additional cost to the Owner.
Examination of Site. The Contractor shall make arrangements to inspect the work area to satisfy him/herself as to the character, quality and quantity of the work to be performed, as well as the conditions that will be encountered at the site or will otherwise affect the cost or difficulty of performing the work.
Examination of Site. Bidders shall inform themselves of all the conditions under which the work is to be performed concerning the site of the work, the obstacles, which may be encountered, and all other relevant matters concerning the work to be performed and the type of removals required under this contract. The Contractor to whom a contract is awarded will not be allowed any extra compensation by reason of any such matters of things concerning which the Contractor did not inform himself prior to bidding. The successful Contractor must employ, so far as possible, such methods and means as will not cause any interruption of interference with any other contractor.
