Absence for Other Reasons. An E.C.E. may be absent from duty for a reason not set out above but which may be a valid one, but only when such leave is granted by the Board. All absences for other reasons must be applied for in accordance with the procedure for obtaining leave.
Absence for Other Reasons. When absent from duty for reasons not covered by this Agreement, but for reasons which are approved in advance by the Superintendent, the established rate of a substitute teacher shall be deducted from the employee’s base salary for a period not to exceed five (5) days in any school year, and thereafter the pro rata deduction will be made.
Absence for Other Reasons. An employee may be absent from duty for a reason not set out in this section, but which may be a valid one, but only when such a leave is granted by the Board.
Absence for Other Reasons. 1. Employees authorized by the Superintendent to visit other schools, to attend educational conventions or other meetings vital to the interests of the Glencoe Public Schools shall have no reduction made in their salary nor any reduction in sick leave or personal days during the time of such attendance.
2. An employee may attend one (1) meeting per year to collect pertinent information toward a possible career change that may be made necessary by a potential reduction-in-force, provided such single absence shall not exceed two days in length, shall be without pay, and shall be scheduled with the building principal at least ten (10) school days in advance and subject to the approval of the building principal that absence on such day will not cause harm to the educational program.
Absence for Other Reasons. A SSP may be absent from work for a reason not set out above but which may be a valid one, but only when such leave is granted by the Board.
Absence for Other Reasons. A DECE may be absent from duty for a reason not set out above but which may be a valid one, but only when such leave is granted by the Board.
Absence for Other Reasons. On recommendation of the xxxx or administrative officer, a regular employee may be eligible for consideration for leave of absence without salary for any reason determined to be at the convenience of the University.
Absence for Other Reasons. A teacher may be absent from duty for a reason not set out in this section, but which may be a valid one, but only when such a Leave is granted by the Board. “In some circumstances the Board may grant the leave at no cost to the Board.”
8:03 At the discretion of the Board, a teacher may be absent from duty for a total of two (2) days during each year of this agreement, and at no cost to the Board. Such leave shall be reported to the Board.
8:04 Leave of Absence with loss of salary, but without loss of sick leave credits granted to teachers, on written application to the Superintendent of Education, Human Resources, for the following reasons:
.1 Attendance at a family graduation;
.2 Attendance at a family wedding;
.3 Attendance at a family anniversary;
.4 Attendance at a convention or conference as a non-Board delegate; .5 Personal or family business not specifically set out above.
Absence for Other Reasons. 9.2.8.1 A teacher may be absent from duty for a reason not set out in this section, but which may be a valid one, but only when such a Leave is granted by the Board. "In some circumstances the Board may grant the leave at no cost to the Board."
