Additional Preconstruction Services. In addition to those items enumerated above, the Design-Builder shall provide such preconstruction services as are necessary to properly advance the Project. These services shall include, but are not limited to, scheduling, estimating, shop-drawings, the ordering of long-lead materials, condition assessments, conservator studies, archeological studies, recommended testing, additional geotechnical testing, and monitoring of historic assets.
Additional Preconstruction Services. In addition to those items enumerated above, the Construction Manager shall provide such preconstruction services as are necessary to properly advance the Project. These services shall include, but are not limited to, scheduling, estimating, shop-drawings, the ordering of long-lead materials, condition assessments, conservator studies, archeological studies, recommended testing, additional geotechnical testing, and monitoring of historic assets.
Additional Preconstruction Services. For additional Preconstruction Services that are approved in advance and in writing by TFC, CMR shall be entitled to additional compensation using one of the following methods of compensation: (i) a negotiated additional lump sum amount; (ii) or cost of CMR’s employees or consultants who actually perform the additional services based on the employees’ wage or salary rate, plus a fee established by TFC; or (iii) as otherwise agreed to by the parties in advance of performing the additional Preconstruction Services.
Additional Preconstruction Services. (1) From time to time Owner may request that Construction Manager perform services in addition to those Preconstruction Services required or reasonably inferable herein (“Additional Preconstruction Services”). Each time Construction Manager is requested to perform Preconstruction Services which Construction Manager believes to be Additional Preconstruction Services, and prior to performing such Additional Preconstruction Services, Construction Manager shall complete and forward to Owner Engineer for approval an Additional Services Requisition in a form agreed upon by the Parties, which shall describe in detail the nature or scope of the Additional Preconstruction Services, the basis upon which Construction Manager has determined that the requested services are Additional Preconstruction Services, and which shall set forth the maximum amount of fees and reimbursable expenses for which Construction Manager is prepared to perform such Additional Preconstruction Services, together with a proposed schedule for the performances of such Additional Preconstruction Services. Construction Manager shall proceed only after written acceptance by Owner of the Additional Services Requisition and written approval from Owner to proceed. If Construction Manager fails to provide the Additional Services Requisition or if Construction Manager begins performing Additional Preconstruction Services prior to written approval from Owner, Construction Manager waives any claim for additional compensation based on its performance of the Additional Preconstruction Services.
(2) If Owner concludes that all or part of the Preconstruction Services described in the Additional Services Requisition are services already required to be performed by Construction Manager pursuant to this Agreement or are reasonably inferable therefrom, then Owner shall notify Construction Manager of his determination and Owner and Construction Manager shall attempt, in good faith, to resolve by negotiation their differences. If within seven Business Days, Owner and Construction Manager are unable to resolve their differences, then Construction Manager shall nevertheless perform the services requested by Director as if the services were services required to be performed pursuant to this Agreement, without prejudice, however, to Construction Manager’s right to pursue a claim for compensation for such disputed services.

Additional Preconstruction Services. In addition to those items enumerated above, the Design-Builder shall provide such preconstruction services as are necessary to properly advance the Project. These services shall include, but are not limited to, scheduling, estimating, shop-drawings, the ordering of long-lead materials, condition assessments, conservator studies, archeological studies, recommended testing, additional geotechnical testing, and monitoring of historic assets. The Design-Builder shall conduct a Phase I archeological survey of the site in accordance with District of Columbia State Historic Preservation Officer’s (DC SHPO) standards and guidelines for archaeological survey current at the time of the investigation, in accordance with the standards of DC Historic Preservation Office, and present all findings in a report to DGS within thirty (30) days of the Preconstruction NTP. The Design-Builder must contact DC SHPO for guidelines.
Additional Preconstruction Services. 2.01 Diverse Business Enterprise (DBE) Program Implementation
A. Identify potential contracting opportunities for DBE Subcontractors and Suppliers to meet Project DBE participation goals.
B. Identify materials and equipment for which no opportunity for DBE participation exists to assist the Owner in developing realistic DBE participation goals based on available opportunities.
C. Determine the eligible contract costs associated with each proposed Work Package.
D. Propose realistic DBE participation goals for the Project, expressed as a percentage of eligible contract costs, considering the specific subcontracting opportunities identified and the availability of DBE participants for each specific subcontracting opportunity.
E. Promote opportunities for DBE firms to participate in submitting offers for subcontracts. Provide potential Subcontractors and Suppliers with a copy of Owner’s DBE policy with bid documents. Make a good faith effort to encourage DBE participation and make potential Subcontractors and Suppliers aware that participation is taken into consideration when awarding contracts.
Additional Preconstruction Services. For any services not set forth in Exhibit A (Scope of Services), the City shall negotiate a contract modification delineating the additional services and the associated firm fixed price based on the hourly rates in the fee schedule set forth in Exhibit D (Hourly Fee Schedule for Additional Preconstruction Services) . Additional Preconstruction Services. In addition to those items enumerated above, the Contractor shall provide such preconstruction services as are necessary to properly advance the Project. These services shall include, but are not limited to, scheduling, estimating, shop-drawings, the ordering of long-lead materials, condition assessments (including 3D reality capture scanning), building stabilization, conservator studies, archeological studies, recommended testing, additional geotechnical testing and monitoring of historic assets. The Contractor shall prepare and submit to the Department a full cost estimate of the current design no later than fifteen (15) days from execution of the Preconstruction NTP.
Additional Preconstruction Services. Those services defined in Section 7.01(c).
Additional Preconstruction Services. After execution of this Contract without invalidating the Contract, if required, Design Builder shall perform additional preconstruction services beyond the scope of the Preconstruction Services that are required by this Contract to be performed within the Fixed Price For Preconstruction Services (“Additional Preconstruction Services”). Design Builder may be compensated for the performance of Additional Preconstruction Services in addition to the Fixed Price For Preconstruction Services only by a Preconstruction Services Change Order signed by Princeton University and only if such Additional Preconstruction Services are required and/or performed through no fault of Design Builder or Design Professional or anyone for whom either of them are responsible and only upon strict compliance with and subject to the terms of this Part III paragraph (n) and its subparts, and other applicable terms of the Contract, including without limitation, Section H of the General Terms & Conditions (Part V of the Contract).
(1) The terms, conditions, and procedures for Additional Design Services, Design Services Change Orders, Disputed Design Service Change Orders, and reduction in Design Services, as set forth in Part IV Section C and its subparts shall apply to Additional Preconstruction Services, Preconstruction Services Change Orders, Disputed Preconstruction Services Change Orders, and reduction in Preconstruction Services, with the terms ‘Design Services’ therein replaced with ‘Preconstruction Services’, and term ‘NTE Design Price or its components’ replaced with ‘Fixed Price For Preconstruction Services’.
