ADDITIONAL SERVICES OF THE CONSULTANT. The following services may cause the extra expense. If any of these services are previously authorized in writing by the OWNER, they shall be paid for by the OWNER as a Lump Sum or Not to Exceed as prescribed in Section 2.2 above, or as prescribed in Section 2.3 above, whichever is specified in the authorization for Additional Services.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES OF THE CONSULTANT a. When authorized in writing by the Commissioner of Public Works the Consultant will furnish or obtain from others, additional services including but not necessarily limited to the following types which are not considered normal or customary basic services. These will be paid for by the County either by a negotiated set fee (commonly referred to as lump sum) basis or on a personnel time basis. Regardless of the Base Contract Type as listed on the first page of this Agreement, an additional services authorization may be on a set fee or time and materials basis.
