Advanced Training. A. With approval in advance from the Superintendent or the Superintendent’s administrative designee, bargaining unit employees shall be reimbursed as outlined herein for approved training, tuition, and fees related to their classification. An employee must also seek approval in advance from the Superintendent for all courses or training outside the employee’s work assignment. A bargaining unit employee shall, after proof of successful completion, be reimbursed 50% of the cost of tuition or fees for approved training related to their classification. Upon completion of an approved certification program, paraprofessionals and other employees in appropriate assignments will be reimbursed an additional 25% of the tuition or fees. Tuition reimbursement will be processed through Accounts Payable via direct deposit. If an employee terminates employment, other than for retirement under MPSERS, she/he must repay tuition reimbursement received during the prior twelve (12) months.
B. Once employed, if an employee completes fifteen (15) contact hours of approved coursework and/or Agency-provided inservice, 1.5% of the employee’s regular hourly wage rate will be added to the employee’s regular hourly wage rate. If an employee completes thirty (30) contact hours of approved coursework and/or district-provided inservice, an additional 1.5% will be added for a total of 3%. If an employee completes forty-five (45) contact hours of approved coursework and/or district-provided inservice, a third 1.5% will be added for a total of 4.5%. Wage adjustments for this section will be made at the start of a semester based on the total hours completed as of the first Friday of the month in which the semester begins. It is the responsibility of the employee to submit the form and documentation of completed hours to the Superintendent’s office by the Friday before the school year or semester starts.
C. A bargaining unit employee can, through training, gain qualification status in other assignments. The qualification designation for additional assignments is limited to a period of five (5) years if the employee is not working in that designated area. To be re-qualified an employee must demonstrate competency to the appropriate Director by a certified test in the designated area (either a nationally normed test or some other evaluation method agreed upon between the parties).

Advanced Training. ¹ The Employer shall encourage employees to undertake advanced training in order to maintain professional mobility and employability and support them in this. The advanced training should enhance professional, personal and social skills. ² Skills obtained in the company (e.g. because of “on-the-job” training) are con- firmed in writing in the (interim) reference. The employee can request an interim reference at any time.
Advanced Training. There will be instances where advanced training, beyond that provided in the initial training program and within the Breakout Training, will be required for DOC/DJJ administrative or investigative personnel to accomplish certain objectives. Advanced training may include learning how to use special system features or combinations of features and capabilities not included in the basic training. MCI will provide this to Department personnel as required. The training location will depend on a number of variables, including the number of personnel to be trained and the individual needs of the trainees. MCI’s On-site Project Manager, Xxx Xxxxx will have overall responsibility for providing all Advanced Training of all DOC / DJJ staff. Xxx Xxxxx is a certified trainer on all of Global Tel*link’s LazerPhone products.
Advanced Training. After designation as a Mission Specialist, the AEB Mission Specialist will begin an advanced training period that includes on-the-job training and collateral duties. Collateral duties will be assigned by the NASA Training Coordinator identified in Section 2.0, and will continue up to 6 months before the Mission Specialist's flight or until such time as a Mission Specialist is suspended or terminated from Training. The NASA Training Coordinator will consult with the AEB Training Coordinator on an annual basis concerning the collateral duties of the AEB Mission Specialist. The AEB Mission Specialist will also be required to complete proficiency and refresher training. In the event of flight assignment, as a part of Training, the AEB Mission Specialist will be required to undergo flight-specific training, including advanced Shuttle systems training, advanced payload training, and integrated team training. The AEB Mission Specialist is expected to operate as an integral part of the crew and will participate in crew activities, including pre- and postflight physicals and other activities as specified by NASA .
Advanced Training. Effective July 1. 2006, additional compensation shall be added to the base salary of each administrator possessing advanced training at one of the levels indicated:
