Advanced Vacation Pay. Upon written request to the agency, no later than three (3) weeks prior to the commencement of a scheduled vacation period, an employee shall receive such earned and accrued pay for vacation time as he/she may request, such payment to be made prior to the commencement of the employee vacation period. Such advances shall be for the period of not less than one (1) pay week.
Advanced Vacation Pay. Checks will be issued for advanced payment of accrued leave provided that a written request is made to the Payroll Department of Municipal Light and Power, or other covered department fourteen (14) days prior to the date payment is required.
Advanced Vacation Pay. In order for employees to receive vacation pay in advance, the Personal Action Form reporting vacations to be taken must be received in the Finance Department at least one week before the day of last payroll distribution before the start of vacation to allow for the drawing of the check.
Advanced Vacation Pay. An employee has the privilege of receiving his/her vacation pay on the last regular pay day prior to the effective date of his/her vacation. This privilege is conditioned upon the employee giving notice to his/her payroll clerk thirty (30) days prior to said last regular pay day.
Advanced Vacation Pay. Employees wishing vacation pay in advance must notify the Chief of Police one week before the day of last payroll distribution before the start of vacation to allow for the drawing of the check.
