Vacation Time After the Trial Period is complete, the Employee is entitled to days off per year of which is required to be mutually benefiting of the Employer and the Employee. It is required for the Employee to give notice before scheduling their vacation in accordance with Company policy. Time Off for Elections Employees shall be allowed four (4) consecutive hours off before the closing of the polls in any Federal, Provincial, or Municipal election or referendum.
Pay for Holidays Worked (a) When an employee is required to work on a designated holiday, the employee shall be paid compensation, or given compensatory time off, for such work at the rate of time and one-half the employee’s regular rate of pay, in addition to regular pay received for all hours worked for the holiday.
VACATION PLAN 2 All employees in the bargaining unit shall earn paid vacation time 3 under this Article. Vacation benefits are earned on a fiscal year 4 basis--July 1 to June 30.
TIME OFF FOR VOTING (a) If an employee does not have sufficient time outside of working hours to vote at a statewide election, the employee may, without loss of pay, take off enough working time that, when added to the voting time available outside of working hours, will enable the employee to vote.
VACATION AND VACATION PAY 9.01 All employees who are covered under this Agreement shall receive vacation pay as a percent of the employee's total earnings exclusive of the Employer's contribution to the Union's Benefit Plan. Income tax shall be deducted weekly from the employee's earnings increased by the amount of vacation pay.
No Split Shifts With the exception of the meal period, an employee's shift for the day shall be comprised of consecutive hours of work unless otherwise mutually agreed to between the employee and the Co-operative.
Time Off for Association Business 21.01 Upon written request by the Association to the permanent head, and with the approval in writing of the permanent head, leave with pay shall be awarded to an employee as follows:
Split Vacations Where an employee wishes to split her vacation, her second choice of vacation time shall be made only after all other employees concerned have made their initial selection.
Time of Vacation (a) All vacation earned during one (1) vacation year shall be taken during the next following vacation year at a mutually agreeable time.
