Annual Report of Activities. 18.5.1 Each Member shall submit a copy of an Annual Report of Activities to his/her Department Chair (or equivalent) and Xxxx by May 5 of each year. The Annual Report shall include a statement of activities for the previous May 1 to April 30 period. 18.5.2 The Annual Report, which shall be completed on a standardized form supplied by the Xxxx, shall include the following information: (a) teaching responsibilities including courses taught and supervision of graduate and undergraduate theses; (b) publications; (c) conference papers given; (d) research and other scholarly work in progress; (e) research grants and contracts awarded, name of granting body, research title, amount awarded and the date awarded; (f) graduate degrees awarded or graduate studies in progress, and the expected date of completion, university, and title of thesis; (g) awards and other honours received; (h) Departmental, Faculty, Senate, Board, Association and other University activities; (i) contributions to the Member's profession; (j) contributions to the Member's community; (k) workshops and courses attended; (l) presentations on education issues; (m) scholarship on teaching; (n) other research and scholarly activities.

Annual Report of Activities. Each Librarian Member shall submit to the University Librarian, copied to the supervising Associate University Librarian where appropriate, an Annual Report of Activities by May 5th of each year. The Annual Report shall include a statement of activities for the period from the previous May 1 to April 30. The Annual Report shall be copied to the Member’s Official File. The Annual Report, which shall be completed on a standardized form supplied by the University Librarian, shall include the following information: (a) professional practice in the University Library; (b) academic and community service within the University; (c) scholarly and/or professional activity.

The Annual Report, which shall be completed on a standardized form approved by the Joint Liaison Committee and supplied by the University Librarian, and shall report on the Member’s assigned duties and responsibilities under: (a) professional practice in the University Library; (b) academic and community service within the University; (c) scholarly and/or professional activity including, but not limited to, publications, conference and workshop presentations, research grants and contracts, a list of graduate degrees awarded or in progress, and a statement of research or scholarly work in progress, and professional activities and contributions to the external academic and professional organizations under 17.1.4. If (b) and/or (c) are not part of a Member’s assigned duties and responsibilities, the Member may include such activities in the Annual Report if he/she wishes to do so.

Annual Report of Activities. Faculty members 5.1 Annual reports are for formative and reporting purposes only. With respect to evaluation for tenure and promotion, the reports may be used only at the request of the Member being evaluated. 5.2 Each Faculty member who was employed by the University in the previous Academic Year shall submit an electronic copy of an Annual Report of activities to their Xxxx by November 30 of each year. The Xxxx shall forward a copy of all Annual Reports for their faculty to the Academic Vice-President & Xxxxxxx by December 15. 5.3 The material listed under Scholarship, above, may be abstracted and compiled by the Academic Vice-President & Xxxxxxx, or the Academic Vice-President & Xxxxxxx’x confidential delegate, to prepare statistical and aggregate data for reporting purposes to internal and external bodies and agencies. 5.4 Faculty members have the option to make the items listed under the Scholarship section of their Annual Reports available to the Associate Vice-President, Research and Graduate Studies, for inclusion in an annual report on StFX research, scholarship, and creative works that will be made accessible to the public. 5.5 A Faculty member applying for tenure and promotion will not be required to submit an annual report in the year of application. Information from the member’s dossier may be used pursuant to Clauses 5.3 and 5.4 above. 5.6 The Annual Report shall include a statement of activities for the previous September 1 to August 31 period. 5.7 The Annual Report for Faculty members shall include the following information with respect to faculty responsibilities in the following format: Name Department St. Xxxxxxx Xxxxxx University Email Please submit an electronic version by email by November 30 to your Xxxx with respect to your accomplishments in the areas of Teaching, Scholarship, and Service. These areas are defined in Articles 2.2.1: 2.0, 2.2.1: 3.0, and 2.2.1: 4.0 respectively.
