ARTICLE VACATION LEAVE. For each month in which a continuing full-time employee has earned at least ten O) days' pay, the employee shall earn vacation leave credits at the rate of:

ARTICLE VACATION LEAVE. The vacation year shall be the fiscal year of the Authority which, as of the date of this Agreement is December to November inclusive, of the following calendar year. Where in any vacation year, an employee has not been granted all of the vacation leave credited to him or her, the unused portion of his or her vacation leave up to a maximum of twelve (12) days credits shall be carried over into the following vacation year. In addition, over any five (5) year period, an employeemay bank an additional twelve (12) days of leave for use at a later time, but in no case shall leave carried over or banked exceed in total of twenty four (24) days at any one time. All vacation leave credits not carried over or banked in accordance with this Article shall be automaticallypaid in cash at the employee’s daily rate of pay. Employees will be notified, in writing, of their vacation balance at the end of the vacation year. ARTICLE VACATION LEAVE. An employee shall earn vacation leave credits at the rate prescribed for his years of service in Article of this Agreement. Leave will be granted on an hourly basis with the hours debited for each day of vacation leave taken by an employee being the same as the hours that the employee would normally have been scheduled to work, exclusive of a meal break. A designated holiday shall be seven and one-half (7 112) hours for the purpose of holiday pay, that is the pay to which an employee is entitled to on a holiday even though he does not work. He will be required to account, by means of vacation or compensatory leave, for the difference between seven and one-half (7 hours and his normal scheduled hours of work. When an employee works on a holiday he shall be paid time and one-half (I 112) for all hours worked in addition to the seven and one-half (7 hours pay that he would have received had he not worked on the holiday.
