ARTIST RESPONSIBILITIES. 1. The Artist hereby agrees to provide at least 30 distinct (from each other) pieces of artwork approved by the VCB for use in marketing the destination.
a. All photos/video must be submitted in proper high-resolution, digital format.
2. The Artist agrees to promote The Program via social media channels a minimum of seven (7) times per month; approximately twice per week.
a. VCB will verify posts have been submitted on a weekly basis.
3. The Artist will check-in monthly with the VCB for review and to get direction/VCB needs (if necessary); approximately one hour per month at VCB offices.
4. The Artist will meet with the VCB representative at the end of the Program term to deliver the assets and discuss their experience with the Program.
5. The Artist grants, sells, assigns, and transfers over to VCB the full usage rights, together with the universe wide copyright thereof, throughout the entire universe, and all rights of whatsoever nature, both legal and equitable therein, thereto and thereunder including but not limited to the sole and exclusive universe wide publication, commercial rights for profit by any and all means, and through any and all media, to all Assets submitted under the program for an unlimited amount of time.
ARTIST RESPONSIBILITIES. Memorize all music, lyrics, scripts and choreography prior to on-stage rehearsals. • Attend off-stage rehearsals as scheduled by director/producer, not to exceed rehearsals. • Arrive promptly to all rehearsals and performances, allowing time for costume changes, make-up/hair, instrument tuning, mic’ing in order to be on stage at designated time. • Ability to communicate via e-mail and download information (tracks, charts, scripts, etc).
ARTIST RESPONSIBILITIES. The artist must: - provide the works listed in the schedule (4.0) to Umbrella for sale or loan (as the artist’s agent); - where feasible, attach a photograph of the works; and - deliver the works to the gallery at 000 Xxxxxxxx Xx, Xxxxxxxxxx by the period commencing date (2.3). - adhere to all additional requirements, terms and conditions outlined in the provided Exhibition Handbook (including delivering works and helping Umbrella staff to install the work, or negotiate with Umbrella in advance if not possible) and adhere to other terms below. - be a financial member of Umbrella for the duration of the exhibition. This includes individual artists exhibiting in group exhibitions. - must provide detailed artwork information digitally (i.e. on Excel spreadsheet provided) to Umbrella prior to installation for creating labels or a roomsheet. - adhere to other responsibilities as listed below.
ARTIST RESPONSIBILITIES a. The Artist agrees that the Artist is responsible for learning all music and appearing fully prepared for the first rehearsal. The role does not have to be memorized and the Artist may perform using the musical score.
b. The Artist agrees to appear at the scheduled rehearsal and performance on time and ready to perform.
ARTIST RESPONSIBILITIES. 1 Artist shall deliver to the Gallery all of the artwork that Artist wishes to display at Rosewood Gallery (the “Artwork”) located at 0000 Xxxxx Xxxxx, Kettering, OH 45420 (the “Gallery”). 2 Artist shall arrange, pay for, and assume all risks associated with preparing the Artwork for proper transport and display at the Gallery including, but not limited to, framing, packing, shipping, and delivery to the Gallery.
ARTIST RESPONSIBILITIES. 1 Artist shall deliver to the Gallery all of the digital artwork that Artist wishes to display at Rosewood Gallery (the “Artwork”) at xxx.xxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx (the “Gallery”). 2 Artist shall deliver the digital Artwork files to the Gallery on a date which will be determined by Rosewood Gallery and which will be prior to the opening date of the exhibition and shall leave the Artwork on display at the Gallery through the end of the exhibition. 3 Artists shall deliver the following to Rosewood Gallery at least six (6) weeks before the exhibition opening: i. A completed entry form (provided by City) including the title, date, media, and value of the Artwork; and
ARTIST RESPONSIBILITIES. 1. Artist shall deliver to the Gallery all of the artwork that Artist wishes to display at Rosewood Gallery (the “Artwork”) located at 0000 Xxxxx Xxxxx, Kettering, OH 45420 (the “Gallery”).
2. Artist shall arrange, pay for, and assume all risks associated with preparing the Artwork for proper transport and display at the Gallery including, but not limited to, framing, packing, shipping, and delivery to the Gallery.
3. Artist shall deliver the Artwork to the Gallery on a date which will be determined by Rosewood Gallery and which will be prior to the opening date of the exhibition and shall leave the Artwork on display at the Gallery through the end of the exhibition.
4. Artist shall remove the Artwork from the Gallery after the end of the exhibition and is responsible for all costs to remove and transport of the Artwork from the Gallery after the end of the exhibition.
5. Artist shall maintain adequate insurance to cover any damage that may occur to the Artwork during its packaging, shipping to the Gallery, display at the Gallery, or removal from the Gallery.
6. Artists shall deliver the following to Rosewood Gallery at least six (6) weeks before the exhibition opening:
i. A completed entry form (provided by City) including the title, date, media, and value of the Artwork; and
ii. Payment of the entry fee; and
iii. Artist’s current résumé and Artist’s statement.
7. Artist shall perform all necessary cleaning, maintenance, and restoration of the Artwork.
8. Artist shall remove the Artwork from City property no later than fifteen (15) business days after the conclusion of the exhibition.
ARTIST RESPONSIBILITIES. 3.1 The BHMR respect that Artistic processes are organic, and outcomes may be indeterminate until closer to the date of commencement of the project or Exhibition. However, should the Artist decide to significantly diverge from the original Artistic proposal after both parties have entered into agreement, the Artist should contact the BHMR Coordinator for re-negotiation. In such instances, Articulate and the BHMR reserve the right to cancel the Contract (hence the Residency) without penalty.
3.2 To not alter or apply any changes to the services provided to the Articulate building (e.g., water, electricals, phone, electronic communications, exit sign lights), or allow others to do so on their behalf.
3.3 To take up adequate insurance cover in relation to the project. This includes damage to the work during production, exhibition, installation, de- installation, such as in the case of damage or theft. This also includes and it's not limited to personal injury to the self or others, as well as damage to others’ property. This can be due, and not limited, to defective electrical equipment used in the project resulting in injury or death, as well as inappropriate acts or omissions by contractors hired for the development and delivery of the project, on and off Articulate Premises.
3.4 Provide suitable marketing copy and images for the media release and invitation two weeks before the Public Event to be used by Articulate and the BHMR Coordinator to promote the project via its blog, email list and social media. Articulate and the BHMR Coordinator reserve the right to edit the copy and reformat the images to improve readability.
3.5 Negotiate with the Articulate Admin regarding appropriateness of proposed hangings to walls and ceiling; drilling of holes; use of the floor space; emission of sounds and odours; and displays that may be deemed controversial (e.g., matters that condone or incite violence; racial, religious or gender discrimination; material inappropriate for minors).
3.6 Instruct any visitors they invite on the Articulate WHS requirements, regardless of the nature of the visit. Particularly ensure that no-one stands on the exposed horizontal beams between the upper and lower floors to install work, take photographs or for any other reason or purpose.

ARTIST RESPONSIBILITIES. Artist shall perform or provide all services and furnish all supplies, materials and equipment necessary for the design, development, fabrication, delivery and installation of the Artwork and shall comply with the following:
A. Beginning on the Effective Date, Artist shall commence the final design, development, fabrication and installation of the Artwork in accordance with this Agreement. Artist shall provide the City with all specifications necessary for the City to install a foundation for the Artwork.
B. Final placement of the Artwork must be coordinated with and approved by the City before installation begins to ensure that no damage is caused to the Site.
C. Artist shall submit monthly progress reports to the City upon written request.
D. Artist shall present to the City in advance, for further review and approval, a written proposal for any significant changes in the scope, design, color, size, material or texture, or location on the Site of the Artwork which affects installation, scheduling, Site preparation or maintenance for the Artwork or the concept of the Artwork as approved by the City.
E. Artist agrees that the Artwork will not utilize any protected patent, trademark, or copyright unless Artist has obtained proper permission and all releases and other necessary documents. If Artist uses any protected material, process, or procedure, Artist shall disclose such patent, trademark, or copyright in the construction drawings and technical specifications.
F. Artist shall provide written instructions for the care, maintenance and preservation requirements for the Artwork. The City acknowledges that the Artwork may suffer some ordinary wear and tear, but such wear and tear shall not be of such a nature to affect the integrity or overall visual quality of the Artwork. The Artwork shall be designed to withstand all conditions that could reasonably be expected to occur at the Site over a twenty-five year period, including the prevailing climate and local conditions, wind events, rain events, and other weather events. Nothing in this paragraph may be construed as limiting the Artist’s obligations to ensure that the Artwork complies with all applicable Laws (as hereinafter defined).
G. Artist shall provide a written warranty of the Artwork, guaranteeing the quality of materials and workmanship for a period of not less than five (5) years after Final Acceptance (as hereinafter defined).

ARTIST RESPONSIBILITIES. Once contacted for potential work, the Artist must do their utmost to respond to any form of contact within the time scale given by the Agency. Failure to respond within the required time may result in losing the provisional booking.
