Bargaining Unit Eligibility. The District and the Union agree that only those ECFE/SR teachers as per Section 1, who are employed by the District for at least fourteen (14) hours per week, will be included in the teacher bargaining unit.
Bargaining Unit Eligibility. New Employees hired after the effective date of this Agreement and upon the satisfactory completion of the initial six (6) months probationary period employed in job title within identified classification identified in Appendix B, will be considered part of this bargaining unit.
Bargaining Unit Eligibility. The Board recognizes that TRS Annuitants employed with the District in part-time certificated teaching capacities will be eligible for bargaining unit membership and will, as bargaining unit members, be exclusively represented by the Association. As such, the KEA would like to receive a copy of the current TRS Annuitants’ contracts, salaries and benefits.

Substitute workers who (1) perform 200 hours of substitute coverage at StreetLight and/or PorchLight within one anniversary year shall then be in the bargaining unit or (2) have transferred from a Streetlight/Porchlight bargaining unit residential advocate or relief coordinator position after successfully completing their introductory period; provided, however, they continue to perform at least 96 hours of work each anniversary year. If a substitute worker within the bargaining unit does not perform 96 hours of work in an anniversary year, they will lose bargaining unit status and must perform another 200 hours within an anniversary year to regain eligibility.

Subsequent to such discussions, if the Department takes the position out of the unit, NNU will be notified in writing. Such notice will include the basis for the removal.The Department will provide NNU, each quarter, a copy of basic employment information regarding Bargaining unit RNs from the HRSmart system or other existing automated database. To the extent reasonably available, the basic employment information will include, by facility, the following: RN name, employee ID, department ID code, work schedule (e.g., full time, part time, intermittent), grade, step and total salary, T&L codes and tour of duty. This information will be provided in electronic (Excel) format to the union at the national level for local dissemination. Section 5: NNU Representatives Union officials/representatives are defined as elected officers or RN representatives who are designated by NNU. NNU at the appropriate level will provide the Department with an updated list of the names, titles, room numbers and telephone numbers of all officials annually and when changes occur. Only representatives on this list are authorized to represent NNU. This list can be updated at any time, electronically or in writing, as changes occur.
