BID PERIOD SERVICES. The intent of the Bid Period Services is to provide engineering services to the City to advertise, obtain bids, and award a contract to a construction Contractor. Consultant will assist the City in technical aspects of bidding and award. Consultant shall perform the following:
BID PERIOD SERVICES. Upon receipt of written authorization by the City, the Consultant shall perform the following tasks to provide bid phase support to the City. The below tasks provides for two (2) separate and independent bid solicitation periods that includes (1) Drilling, and (2) all the other design elements outlined in previous Tasks.
BID PERIOD SERVICES. The Consultant shall provide technical assistance as needed to interpret the contract documents during the construction contract bid phase. Correspondence with prospective bidders shall be documented in writing. Two Consultant team members shall attend the prebid conference and will assist in preparing up to three technical addenda to the contract documents (if needed). City is responsible for managing the advertisement and bidding process.
BID PERIOD SERVICES. 4.1 Pre-Bid Meeting We will attend a pre-bid meeting scheduled by the County to answer questions from prospective bidders. The designers’ participation at this meeting shows the County’s partnering approach, expedites answering questions, and should result in better bid results. BID PERIOD SERVICES. Stantec will prepare a notice advertising the upcoming bid as directed by the City of Sparks. Bid packages will be available to bidders from the City of Sparks. We will respond to bidder inquiries, attend and run a pre-bid meeting, prepare addenda as required, attend the bid opening and prepare the bid analysis leading to a recommendation of award.

  • Period of Services Unless otherwise stated herein, the Consultant will begin work after receipt of a properly executed copy of this Agreement. This Agreement assumes conditions permitting continuous and orderly progress through completion of the services. Times for performance shall be extended as necessary for delays or suspensions due to circumstances that the Consultant does not control. If such delay or suspension extends for more than six months, Consultant’s compensation shall be renegotiated.

  • Transition Period LVRT Standard The transition period standard applies to wind generating plants subject to FERC Order 661 that have either: (i) interconnection agreements signed and filed with the Commission, filed with the Commission in unexecuted form, finally executed as conforming agreements, or filed with the Commission as non-conforming agreements between January 1, 2006 and December 31, 2006, with a scheduled in-service date no later than December 31, 2007, or (ii) wind generating turbines subject to a wind turbine procurement contract executed prior to December 31, 2005, for delivery through 2007.

  • Transition Period Due to the nature of our purchasing process, the District often requires an existing service provider to continue to provide goods and/or services while the District is in the process of advertising, evaluating, and awarding a contract for the provision of the same goods and/or services in the future. To accommodate this process, the Contractor shall agree to maintain the same terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement for a period up to ninety (90) days after the automatic termination of this Agreement at the end of its term, if requested by the District, as a transition period. In addition, if the Contractor is not the successful bidder for a future solicitation for the same or similar services, he or she shall agree to provide the same goods and/or services provided in this Agreement for a period up to ninety (90) days to allow for an orderly transition to the new provider. The District and the Contractor may mutually agree to a longer transition period.

  • Pre-Commencement Phase Services The services required to be provided by the Contractor for the Pre- Commencement Phase of the Project in accordance with the Contract Documents.

  • Evaluation Period Customer’s right to use the Services on a Trial Basis are time-limited and will terminate immediately upon the earlier of (i) the trial end date as specified in an Order Form or other document executed by the parties regarding such trial, or (ii) the start date of when Customer purchases a right to use such Services on a non-Trial Basis, or (iii) the date when QuoVadis terminates Customer’s right to use the Services on a Trial Basis (which QuoVadis may do at any time in its sole discretion). Customer must cease using the Services on a Trial Basis upon any such termination.

  • Training Period The training provided for in this article shall be given during the hours of work whenever possible. Any such training outside of working hours shall be considered voluntary unless at the request of the Employer, in which case time devoted to training shall be considered as time worked.

  • Development Period The Contractor may commence pre-construction activities like utility shifting, boundary wall construction or any other activity assigned to the Contractor by the Authority to enable construction of the Project Highway immediately after signing of the Agreement, to the extent that such work is ready for execution. The Parties agree that these works may be taken up and completed to the extent feasible by the Contractor, before declaration of the Appointed Date, but no claim against the Authority for delay shall survive during this period and that the undertaking of these works by the Contractor shall not count towards the Scheduled Construction Period of the project which starts counting only from the Appointed Date. No construction activity of the Project Highway shall be undertaken during the development period.
