CABLE SPLICERS. A. All work of joining splicing and insulating, on power cable designed to carry in excess of 750 volts shall be performed by competent journeymen wiremen cable splicers. B. When cable splicing work is to be performed on energized cables and the voltage is in excess of 750 volts, one cable splicer and a journeyman must work together. C. The phasing or tagging of any conductor cable preliminary to splicing such cable shall be performed by the cable splicer who is to make the splice. D. Cable splicers shall not be required to work with energized multiple cable carrying in excess of 750 volts.

CABLE SPLICERS. All joining and splicing and placing of flameproof covering on underground cables, pulling in and removing of cable, shall be under the jurisdiction of Journeymen Cable Splicers assisted by such Apprentices and Helpers as needed. Cable Splicers working on energized circuits shall be accompanied by another Journeyman (Cable Splicer or Lineman). Special crews in the underground department to which two (2) Cable Splicers are normally assigned shall be under the supervision of a Senior Cable Splicer. In any other event when a Journeyman Cable Splicer is performing the work described in the first paragraph of this Section and is assisted by one employee, a Journeyman Cable Splicer shall be temporarily upgraded to a Senior Cable Splicer while performing this work. If the employee so designated as Senior Cable Splicer continues to perform the duties of the higher classification continuously for four (4) hours or more, he/she shall receive the Senior Cable Splicer rate of pay for the total period of time so worked.
CABLE SPLICERS. Cable splicers shall be paid cable splicer pay whenever certified splicers are required. Journeymen only shall be used in assisting the cable splicer. Cable splicers shall not be required to work on wires or cables where the difference in potential is over 300 volts between any two conductors or between conductors and ground, unless assisted by another Journeyman. In no case shall cable splicers be requested to work on energized cables carrying in excess of 400 volts.
CABLE SPLICERS. Cable splicing work shall consist, of the following - “splicing pot head and termination of all circuits having a rating of 2300V and above which are lead covered and/or shielded.” Each cable splicer shall be assisted by a journeyman xxxxxxx when assistance is needed. Section 3.14. High time on water tanks, steeples, TV or radio towers, smoke stacks and silos, where the electrical work performed extends twenty-five (25) feet above the base of these specified structures, the men who climb these structures while performing work above the twenty- five (25) foot level shall receive a premium of three dollars ($3) per hour in addition to the regular scheduled rate of pay. Any work performed above three hundred (300) feet of the above described structures, the men who perform this work shall receive a premium of four dollars ($4) per hour in addition to the regular scheduled rate of pay. Section 3.15. Men performing work on the above structures above twenty-five (25) feet from a spider or bosum chair shall receive a premium of six dollars ($6) per hour in addition to the regular schedule rate of pay. Section 3.16. An additional one dollar ($1) an hour will be paid for working on bar joists, walk logs, exposed steel and swinging scaffolds when the surface the xxxxxxx stands or sits on exceeds twenty-five (25) feet above solid floor and the xxxxxxx is subject to free fall. On similar work above fifty (50) feet, a premium of three dollars ($3) per hour will be paid in addition to the regular scheduled rate of pay. Section 3.17. When so elected by the contractor, multiple shifts of at least five (5) days’ duration may be worked. When two (2) or three (3) shifts are worked: A. M. Workmen on the “swing shift” shall receive eight (8) hours’ pay at the regular hourly rate plus 10% for seven and one-half (7 ½) hours’ work. The third shift (graveyard shift) shall be worked between the hours of 12:30 A.M. and 8:00 A. M. Workmen on the “graveyard shift” shall receive eight (8) hours’ pay at the regular hourly rate plus 15% for seven (7) hours’ work. A lunch period of thirty (30) minutes shall be allowed on each shift. All overtime work required after the completion of a regular shift shall be paid at one and one-half times the “shift” hourly rate. There shall be no pyramiding of overtime rates and double the straight rate shall be the maximum compensation for any hour worked. CABLE SPLICERS. (i) The work of joining and terminating lead covered or shielded cables rated in excess of 1000 volts shall be performed by cable splicers. Cable splicers shall not be required to work on wires or cables when the difference in potential is over 300 volts between any two conductors, or between any conductors and ground, unless assisted by another journeyman. In no case shall cable splicers be required to work on energized cable carrying in excess of 500 volts. (ii) Cable splicers shall furnish only hand tools.
CABLE SPLICERS. These classifications not presently used Seniority will date from date of last entry to service in a position in the construction group. An employee laidoff shall retainseniority stand- ing for one year but if no service is performed during a twelve month period shall be considered as out of the service and dropped from the seniority list. This not to apply to employees on sick leave. Regular linemen who may be displaced by re- duction of staff or other cause shall have the right to any position in the construction forces to which their seniority entitles them.

  • Cloud storage DSHS Confidential Information requires protections equal to or greater than those specified elsewhere within this exhibit. Cloud storage of Data is problematic as neither DSHS nor the Contractor has control of the environment in which the Data is stored. For this reason: (1) DSHS Data will not be stored in any consumer grade Cloud solution, unless all of the following conditions are met: (a) Contractor has written procedures in place governing use of the Cloud storage and Contractor attests in writing that all such procedures will be uniformly followed. (b) The Data will be Encrypted while within the Contractor network. (c) The Data will remain Encrypted during transmission to the Cloud. (d) The Data will remain Encrypted at all times while residing within the Cloud storage solution. (e) The Contractor will possess a decryption key for the Data, and the decryption key will be possessed only by the Contractor and/or DSHS. (f) The Data will not be downloaded to non-authorized systems, meaning systems that are not on either the DSHS or Contractor networks. (g) The Data will not be decrypted until downloaded onto a computer within the control of an Authorized User and within either the DSHS or Contractor’s network. (2) Data will not be stored on an Enterprise Cloud storage solution unless either: (a) The Cloud storage provider is treated as any other Sub-Contractor, and agrees in writing to all of the requirements within this exhibit; or, (b) The Cloud storage solution used is FedRAMP certified. (3) If the Data includes protected health information covered by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), the Cloud provider must sign a Business Associate Agreement prior to Data being stored in their Cloud solution.
