A Career Incentive clause establishes rewards or benefits for employees based on their professional achievements or milestones within an organization. Its core practical function is to motivate employees to perform at higher levels and remain with the company, thereby supporting talent retention and organizational growth.
CAREER INCENTIVE. It is the intent of Poudre School District to provide a career incentive benefit for eligible employees. This benefit will be maintained as part of the total benefits package for Poudre School District employees.
CAREER INCENTIVE. All employees covered hereunder who have completed a total of five (5) years or more of full-time service with the District shall be entitled to annual longevity pay at the rate of one-half percent (.50%) of the base pay for each year of continuous service with the District up to a maximum payment of fifteen percent (15%). An employee’s eligibility for longevity pay shall be reviewed as of June 1st and December 1st of each year with payment to be affected in equal semiannual installments payable on the first payday of June and December immediately following a determination of eligibility. For qualified employees retiring or resigning before the due date of any semi-annual payment, the amount of payment shall be prorated.
CAREER INCENTIVE. 1. Employees shall be eligible for a career incentive payment on the employee’s anniversary date. Effective July 1, 2006, eligible employees shall be identified on a quarterly basis for the fiscal year. One (1) lump- sum payment, less applicable taxes and/or deductions, shall be made no more than thirty (30) days from the quarterly report to each eligible employee identified within a respective quarter. Employees shall be compensated according to the schedule listed below:
CAREER INCENTIVE. Any teacher eligible for Article I, Section 5, Subd. 8. shall not be eligible for this subdivision. Any teacher who has completed a minimum of twenty (20) annual reviews at least sixteen (16) of which are at the “Fully Engaged” level and who completes an annual performance review with an overall rating of “Fully Engaged” will receive an incentive payment as provided on the “SPIP Salary Schedule.” Such teacher receiving an overall rating of “Partially Engaged” shall have one (1) school year to implement the changes recommended by the PRT. At the request of the teacher, the PRT shall reconvene to determine if the teacher has met the established level. Teachers must have their final performance review team meeting concluded by May 31st. Payment for the Career Incentive will be included by the last check in June.
CAREER INCENTIVE. Subd. 1. In addition to the Base Rate, employees shall receive $0.15 per hour for each year of service with the School District. Adjustments to the Career Incentive shall be made on July 1.
CAREER INCENTIVE. All employees covered hereunder who have completed a total of five (5) years or more of full-time service with the County and who have been rated standard or better pursuant to the applicable performance evaluation program shall be entitled to longevity pay as shown in the table below calculated at the rate of one hundred dollars ($100) per year of service up to a maximum annual payment of three thousand dollars ($3,000) for thirty (30) years or more of service. Employees who have worked or are now working in a permanent part-time position are eligible for Career Incentive after having worked or after having been in a paid leave status the same number of hours equivalent to a full-time employee. An employee's seniority for career incentive shall include all periods of service from the employee's last continuous permanent County employment date except as provided herein. Periods of separation may not be bridged to extend service unless the separation is a result of a layoff in which case bridging will be authorized if the employee is reemployed in a permanent position in accordance with Article 24, or unless an employee who separates is reemployed within one (1) year and then works a minimum of one (1) year upon reemployment. The period of time an employee is on leave without pay in excess of thirty-one (31) calendar days shall not count as qualifying time for career incentive. An employee's eligibility for longevity pay shall be reviewed as of June I and December I of each year with payment to be effected in equal semiannual installments payable on the first payday of June and December immediately following a determination of eligibility. In order for an employee not to receive a semiannual longevity payment, the employee must have received a below standard performance evaluation during the six-month period immediately preceding the semiannual eligibility review date. CAREER INCENTIVE. Career Incentive payments shall be paid after the employee has completed his/her 15th, 20th, and 25th consecutive years of employment. All Food and Nutrition Services employees working four (4) hours or more are eligible. The payments in lump sum will be made according to the following schedule at the beginning of each school year. Completion of 15th year = $600.00 Completion of 20th year = $1,100.00 Completion of 25th year = $1,600.00 A full year of service shall be credited to all employees who have worked one day more than half of their calendar.
CAREER INCENTIVE. 19.1. Each employee who obtains an Associate College Degree, or equivalent as described in the "▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇", in Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice, etc., shall receive four thousand dollars ($4,000.00) compensation per year. 19.2. An employee, who obtains a Bachelor's Degree in Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice, etc., shall receive seven thousand dollars ($7,000.00) compensation per year. 19.3. An employee who obtains a higher degree, (Master's, Doctorate, etc.) in Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice etc., shall receive ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00) compensation per year. 19.4. The employee must have received his/her degree on or before June 30 to be eligible to receive compensation for the following fiscal year starting July 1. The premiums will be paid on a bi- weekly basis. 19.5. Each employee who enrolls in a course related to Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice, etc., or an elective or general studies course required to complete a Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice, etc. or related degree, offered by an accredited institution, shall be reimbursed by the Town an amount not to exceed three thousand dollars ($3,000) per year, per employee, upon achieving a grade of at least a C or in the case of a pass/fail class, a passing grade. 19.5.1. Employees are required to notify the Chief by December 1 of their intent to enroll in (a) college course(s). 19.5.2. All classes to be taken by officers for which they will seek reimbursement need prior approval by the Chief. 19.5.3. Documentation of course enrollment, the grade earned, an invoice detailing the cost of the course, and a written request for reimbursement must be submitted to the Town Accountant.
CAREER INCENTIVE. .01 Any employee who earns a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree shall be paid the sum of seven-hundred fifty dollars ($750.00) per fiscal year, or any employee who earns a Master of Science in Nursing degree shall be paid the sum of one- thousand dollars ($1,000.00) per fiscal year. Degrees must be from an approved and accredited institution. .02 Notwithstanding the said requirements of Article 30, the Town agrees to pay the $1,000.00 career inventive to ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇, who currently is a Registered Nurse holding a Master's Degree in Public and Community Health Education. This Agreement is limited and specific to Nurse ▇▇▇▇▇▇ and shall not apply to other employees or circumstances.
CAREER INCENTIVE. 27.1 Purpose‌ 27.1.1 The purpose of the Career Incentive Program is to provide an incentive plan for career law enforcement employees to undertake on their own time and at their own expense, educational efforts which will improve their law enforcement skills and knowledge through accredited educational facilities. The Program is to provide a system of recognition for those persons obtaining these educational goals. It is not the intent of the Program to substitute education for performance; rather it is to encourage additional achievement which can be translated into a higher level of performance. The objectives of the program are: 1. To upgrade the educational level of law enforcement employees of the San ▇▇▇▇ Obispo County Sheriff’s Office on a continuing basis to ensure high-quality law enforcement service. 2. To help attract qualified individuals at the entry level who have an interest in law enforcement as a career. 3. To incentivize qualified employees to improve themselves throughout their career. 4. To promote more highly qualified employees to supervisory and administrative positions.
