Cell Phone Stipend. 2401 Cell Phone Stipend: If an employee is required by his/her supervisor to use a cell phone and does not accept the City provided cell phone, the employee shall receive a stipend as provided for in the City’s Administrative Policies and Procedures regarding cell phones.

Cell Phone Stipend. Each Unit Employee shall receive a cell phone stipend in the amount of forty-five dollars ($45.00) per month toward obtaining a cell phone; or the Unit Employee may elect to apply said allowance to his/her current personal cell phone plan. The Employer shall not require the Unit Employee to answer his/her cell phone, or be considered “on call” at any particular time or location as a result of receiving this stipend. This provision shall expire upon the mutual agreement of the Labor Management Committee (LMC).

Cell Phone Stipend. Classified employees who are identified by the District as requiring mobile contact via their personal cell phone during their assigned workday because their job requires them to travel throughout the District will receive a monthly cell phone stipend of $45. Classified employees who are identified as eligible for the cell phone stipend but choose not to utilize a personal cell phone, will be provided with an alternative means of contact by the District, and not receive the stipend.
