COLLEGE ALLOWANCE. All employees shall be entitled to the Police College Allowance on the same basis as set out in Article 18:11 of the Police Personnel Collective Agreement.

COLLEGE ALLOWANCE. Any employee required to attend the Ontario Police College in Aylmer, Ontario, will be provided with an allowance of one hundred seventy-five dollars ($175.00) for each trip to and from Aylmer. Any employee required to attend any other work related training facility outside of the City of Ottawa shall be paid a travel allowance of forty-two cents ($0.42) per kilometre each way.
COLLEGE ALLOWANCE. A. The City and the Association agree that the amount and quality of an employee’s education often determine the value of his contribution to the community, and the degree of proficiency with which he performs his duties. In order to provide an incentive to encourage members of the Association to achieve the advantage of higher education, the City agrees that each employee who receives academic credits for part-time study in any institution of collegiate grade which offers a college curriculum leading to or accreditable toward an undergraduate, baccalaureate, or associate degree, relating to their employment, and which is accredited by the Board of Higher Education, shall receive a college allowance as hereinafter set forth. Each employee who has received credit for such academic courses, even if said courses were taken and completed while said employee was not a member of the Margate City Fire Department, shall be entitled to and paid a college allowance of Ten ($10.00) Dollars per year for each academic credit hour so received. This college credit allowance of Ten ($10.00) Dollars per credit hour received shall be cumulative, so that each employee shall be entitled to receive the college allowance per year for the total credits obtained by said employee, and said credit allowance shall continue so long as the employee is employed by the employer. The college allowance shall be paid on the last pay in November of each year. In addition to any other credits or payments set forth herein or hereunder, the City will pay to each Fireman, upon the completion of a course, a reimbursement to him for the full cost of tuition and books for each course so completed.
COLLEGE ALLOWANCE. A. The City and the PBA agree that the amount and quality of an employee’s education often determines the value of his contribution to the community and the degree of proficiency with which he performs his duties. In order to provide an incentive to encourage the employees to achieve the advantages of higher education, the City agrees that each employee who earns academic credits for study in any institution of higher education which offers a college curriculum leading to, or accreditable toward, an undergraduate baccalaureate or associate degree in law enforcement, which is accredited by the New Jersey State Board of Higher Education, shall be paid a college allowance in the amount of fifty-five dollars ($55.00) for each such credit for which a grade of “B” or higher has been awarded.
COLLEGE ALLOWANCE. Each employee coming within the Bargaining Unit who is required to attend the Ontario Fire College, shall be provided with an out-of-pocket expense allowance of per week ($75.00effective July 1993) during the such employee is required to attend the College. LATERAL TRANSFER Divisional seniority shall mean the length of continuous service a particular division. The said division being defined as follows: Fire Fighting Fire Prevention Training Departmental seniority shall mean the length of continuous service from the date of an employee's initial appointment to the department. All job openings and vacancies, except Probationer Fire Fighter, shall be posted within the department. An employee from one division to another may return to his former position within twelve months from the date of his transfer without loss of divisional seniority. Service in the relinquished position shall not be for divisional purpose. An employee transferring from one division to another shall not carry any rank or classification earned in the former division. After twelve (12) months, upon returning to his former division the employee shall wait for ARTICLE ARTICLE

  • Mileage Allowance The state agrees to seek continued funding to provide for the payment of a mileage allowance for the use of privately owned vehicles for official travel at the rate provided in section 112.061(7)(d)1., F.S.

  • Shoe Allowance The Employer will provide reimbursement to full time employees who have completed probation and who are employed in the kitchen and stewarding departments, once per year in the amount of $60.00 and once every two years in the amount of $60.00 for maintenance and banquet housepersons. The amount shall increase to $75, effective January 1, 2007. Employees will receive said amount as long as the shoes are approved by the employer and as long as the shoes are worn on the job. Payment will be made on or about July 1 upon presentation of proof of purchase.

  • Education Allowance Provisions in existing Collective Agreements providing for educational allowances shall be continued in effect.

  • Site Allowance All new construction and extension/refurbishment work having a project value in excess of $2.0m will attract the then current City of Melbourne Site Allowance.

  • CAR ALLOWANCE The Company shall provide the Executive an automobile allowance of $750 per month during the term of Executive’s employment hereunder.

  • Kilometrage Allowance An Employee who is authorized to use a privately owned automobile on the Employer’s business shall be paid a kilometrage allowance of $0.4415 cents per kilometre. The Employer will adopt the civil service kilometrage rate effective the date of a tentative agreement being reached between the parties, provided that such agreement is subsequently ratified. Thereafter adjustments will be made in accordance with, and on the same effective dates as adjustments to the civil service rate.

  • Training Allowance Operators who are required by the Employer to provide training to a specified level and to certify to the competency of the employees so trained shall receive twelve dollars ($12) per day while training. In such cases, the most senior qualified operator with the capability to provide training in the required class of equipment shall be given the opportunity to provide such training.

  • Meal Allowance A shift worker who works a qualifying shift of eight hours or the rostered shift, whichever is the greater, and who is required to work more than one hour beyond the end of the shift (excluding any break for a meal) shall be paid a meal allowance of $7.95, or, at the option of the employer, be provided with a meal.

  • Vehicle Allowance (a) Vehicle allowance for all kilometres travelled on the Employer’s business shall be paid to employees who are required to use their own vehicles in the performance of their duties.
